Vol8 by ADV FINALLY!! *nyahahaha!!*

pretty much what was covered in the last arc of the anime where Sousuke &
Kaname go out to the Danaan, and the subsequent mission to the chemwarfare
plant. Some great interation and char development that got dropped from
the anime....

pretty lighthearted stuff mixed with the serious...

Vol 9+ CAN'T come out soon enough!!

Hey guys, sorry to be n00bish; but i was looking at amazon.com trying to find the US editions and there was a lot of FMP stuff on there (even when i narrowed my search)

can any1 give me a link? i'd like to eventually get all the volumes ^^

edit: page on site has info.. i was being stupid...

Forget Amazon and go to ya local comic book shop. Works well for me.

Nope. It ends with 9.

There's still the Ikinari series, and we're waiting to see if ADV's gonna grab Sigma.

Not much new from the anime, but it closes off things quite nicely. Japanese
release schedules aside, ADV has its own problems to fix on this side of the
pond in terms of their manga distro

I have to admit... I really liked the way this was ended. I was hoping it would be at least a little different from the anime (I personally don't care to read manga that is almost the exact same thing as the anime), and it greatly surpassed my expectations.

They have only sent three of the books to each of the Borders in my area. I hope everyone has been able to get one!

Did the ending actually come from the novels? I remember reading something somewhere (Newtype??

) about when they were working on the anime that Gatoh-san said that they had to cut a scene out at the very end of the anime that was in the novel becuase they didn't have room.

Wow, that is information we desperately need. I haven't got the chance to read the last manga, but the anime ending was a little awkward. It's still acceptable, IMO.
