how i think fmp will end

Very Possible

My guess on how it ends

A) They both go back to school and are welcomed back and Sousuke and Kaname Live Together, Sousuke quits Mithril, But still protects Kaname. The novel ends with them sharing a kiss or confessing their love (cheezy) but probably what all the fans want.

B) Same as my first option but they dont go back to school.

C) Kaname goes back to school but Sousuke doesnt(Sad Ending)

Just wild guesses of course

If they ever wanted to leave the story open for further joke episodes and such my guess is they would go with option A. They could follow their exploits as Kaname and Sousuke go thru being 3rd year students.

However most series tend to decline in popularity once the mystery of the relationship has been solved, so my guess is the last thing we will read will be them confessing their love or kissing and the series (atleast the main plot) ending soon after.

I think it might end with a dramatic end:
Sousuke dies for the sake of Kaname, to save her, but before he does they confess their love one more time and have a kiss. Kaname would forever remember Sousuke as her love and her hero.

Pretty much dramatic, isn't it?!

Well, make your bets...

But I do preffer that Sousuke ends up happy with Kaname anyway...

sousuke dieing to save her is a posability, Heros dieing seems to be a common trend in anime.

I'm sick of always seeing the main character die, its happened in alot of series i like. Frankly i miss the old, everyone lives happily ever after ending.

Not always but Sometimes you want a happy ending, and for me personally since i really like the characters, their chemistry and their relationship, i hope thats what happens here.

A Guy like Sousuke whos gone thru hell and back deserves a happpy ending and so does Kaname since shes been hurt so much.

I'm going to go with:

1.) Sousuke quits Mithril, he and Kaname return to Jindai, all is forgiven.
2.) Tessa finally gives up on Sousuke, and ends up as head of either Mithril or the SRT (it's possible, given the decimated leadership).
3.) Kalinin dies. The older, cooler mentor figure must always die.

4.) Leonard dies. The main bad guy has to die too.

5.) The survivors of the current SRT end up as the core of a new team. (I can't imagine any more dying at this rate, really, but you can never tell.)
6.) Mardukas... survives. Unlike Kalinin, he isn't exactly cool enough, or insignificant enough, to die. (There's no denying that he's cool, but he needed more air time.)
7.) Kyouko... survives. THINK OF THE HAMSTER.

Yeah, I know Fumoffu and the main series don't mesh together too well in terms of continuity, but the fact that Fumoffu exists at all would suggest a generally happier ending. *shrug* So sue me, I'm a cynical romantic, if that's even possible.

Alternatively, it could just end with a Sousuke/Gauron/Gates slash pairing. Then the world would really end.

I guess since the author said that he was going to "wrap everything up" and not leave anything hanging, I don't see him putting things back the way they should be for more short stories- I don't really see him continuing the series after this arc is over. I don't know how it will end, but I want Sousuke and Kaname to be together in the end. Kaname is the only one that can give Sousuke any meaning to his life- he's been living his life for her ever since he got assigned to the mission- and as far as Kaname goes, she loves Sousuke, but not what he's done- but I think the only hope for both of them is for Kaname to forgive Sousuke and accept him- otherwise I don't think Sousuke could go on because he's hating himself more and more for his life and what he's done, seeing himself as a monster that no one could ever love.
So basically, I don't care what happens as far as school, Mithril and such, just as long as Kaname and Sousuke have the ending they deserve

Long as they end up together thats mainly what i hope for.

As far as returning to school, it would be nice but I have my doubts on it actually happening. But then again Sousuke did make that promise to bring her back no matter what, so you never know.

But like you stated long as they recieve the happy ending they deserve.

A question, When you say Kaname forgiving Sousuke, are you referring to how she saw him killing all those ppl in COMO and thought he was a monster? Or the Injury to Kyoko? just curious.

Even tho they didnt part on the best of terms I think everything between the 2 will work out just fine, after all Kanames a smart girl and im sure she could understand why Sousuke had to do what he did. They obviously care a great deal about each other.

No, I mean that in COMO she finally realizes what kind of life he has led- that he didn't just kill "bad guys" per se, and always for "good" reasons; basically, she wakes up to the reality that he murders people because he is ordered to, no matter what kind of person they are.
As far as Sousuke goes, he also realizes this, and finds that he hates himself for it, and realizes that someone like him doesn't deserve to be with someone as pure and loving as Kaname. So right now all he is doing is living to save her, because that's all the meaning that he sees in his life anymore.

I mean, How they gonna live? The only thing Sousuke knows, with perfection btw, is fight. And Kaname will aways be a whispered. She will aways have a organization behind her, wanting her knowledge. The only thing I can imagine is: She have to affiliate to some organization (she could start a new one...), and Sousuke could be part of it. That's the only way I can see for them to have a "normal" life together.

you know, as much as i'd love to see a happy ending to this great series, i'd be pretty disappointed if gatou comes up with an ending that is something to have people say "see, i told you so"
