No,if I ever felt depressed about an anime it was because it ended or I felt bad for what the character was faced with. :sousuke:
Sousuke's #1 Fan!

"For a long time it gave me nightmares, it shows that the world can sometimes be cruel. I can still hear them taunting him. "Silly Rabbit, Trix are for kids." Why couldn't they just give him some damn cereal?!" - Carlton Banks, Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air.

Anime has never moved me to tears, but it has altered my mood occaisionly to saddness, empathy or depression, which is close enough. Many times it has been because a truely exceptional show has ended. However X:tv series was laced with a lot of moving drama [ecs] particularily with most of the characters being killed off one by one. [/ecs] And in episode nine of TSR, when Kaname fell on her knees crying after Leonard had left, I remember feeling quite moved by her overflow of emotions, and how well the voice actor conveyed these feelings. It provided some empathy to her character to see such vulnerability.
However, in the end, I suppose I haven't seen as much depressing anime as some people since I tend to steer clear of angst-ridden plotlines. I find myself more susceptible to feelings of excitment, happiness, and even dissapointment, more than tearful emotion.

I can't count how many times I've cried while watching anime. I'm really sensitive or emotionally unstable, I guess. :3;;

I don't remember whether or not I've cried during Full Metal Panic. I teared at the end of TSR. I teared at the end of Evangelion.. I probably teared at the end of Air too. I've cried during Wolf's Rain. I've actually sobbed during Fullmetal Alchemist, Fruits Basket, and Scrapped Princess. Crazy stuff. Yeah, I've probably cried more than that. I just can't remember anymore for now. xD It's a good thing though. It just means I really got the jist of the anime and I enjoyed it. Not that I like crying or anything. xDDD

Yes. When I was REALLY young, I cried on that one episode of Pokemon where Pikachu found a whole tribe of Pikachu, and in the end, went with Ash, as well as the one where Butterfree left Ash with another Butterfree. After that, anime didn't really make me cry, though the ending of Macross Zero, which I watched more recently, did make me want to cry at the ending. ;_;

Untill now I was sure no one cried while watching Fruits Basket but me... Seems I was wrong :D I don't really remember why I cried or when, or what was a sad part. Maybe it was just me, those days pretty much everything made me cry, even if little sad.

Grave of Fireflies also made me cry. Not as much as Fruits Baskest but still.
(English is not my native language, so my writings are pretty crappy. Try to live with it.)
