Heh... back from the doc. Nasty ear infection, ear drum caved in. Something to be said about a doc who can shove a metal something up your nose and push your eardrum into place without you feeling a thing. And that something is "expensive." heh... good doc though... if old...

Ear still hurts though.

And yes, Tau has done that procedure many times... though at least this one doesnt involve the M-2 Machine Gun and saying "The .50 Cal round will gently 'push' it back into place"

Man... no one ever mentioned that procedure when my eardrum had fallen back on the bones you hear with. As a result I have permanent hearing loss since the bones eroded away from the pressure of the eardrum. I mean, I'm sure the procedure isn't pleasant but at least I'd be able to hear.

I got an impact hole in my left ear, caused by a Gallien-Krueger 2001RB head over a pair of Genz Benz GB 610T-XB2 cabs that decided to play explosive ordinance 4 feet away from me.

Now I'm prone to really bad ear infections.
