"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

Yes, that's the KARMA engine putting my playing on the downbeat when it wasn't suppose to. I can't figure out how to make it not do that.... sort of like quantizing, but not exactly.
I forgot to mention that unlike my other recordings, that one was "live" meaning I played it from start to finish while recording a stereo track. no sequencers were used. No mixing, no post-processing. nothing. all live.
That is the power of KARMA on my Korg Karma mwahahahh!
I used my A70, which I configured to trigger sound effects off my Kurzweil and layered the two Yamahas and the Kurzweil piano. One key was used to play the wind sound (key was held down with a Popsicle stick) and another key for the doomsday bomb on the Kurzweil. The rest of the keys on the A70 drove the piano and Yamahas. The Karma was split between driving the KARMA engine and the saw lead sound. A foot pedal connected to the Karma switched between KARMA scenes.
I played both keyboards simultaneously, ala Keith Emerson. it was fun! If I had a video camera, it would be on YouTube.
Question is did you like it?
A race game is fair, since the rhythm is based on galloping horses. It was inspired by “The Charge of the Light Brigade” ( ya know, "Into the valley of death rode the...."). Hence the title "Ride into the gorge", gorge being the mouth of a valley.

Agree with Tau, the slow start was something I needed after today, after that I felt the urge to
pick up my joystick or driving wheel and letting loose with some NO-boosted fun.
Keep it up Killer!
Regards

On a good day, a Tomahawk can fly into the door of a two-car garage at the distance of several hundred miles. And that can ruin your whole day.

Hey! I lucked out! I recorded the midi output of the performance so I was able ti re-record the audio. What I lucked out on was that the Karma midi only contained my playing and not the generated stuff. So I was able to tweak the parameters to remove what I though was the "off" bit.
I posted an updated version. Have a listen and let me know if I got the offending notes.

Didn't notice anything different... maybe if both clips were up for side-by-side.
Still liked it nonetheless.
