Tall and Cold again... late shift again... and we're losing staff again *sighs*

I know life is about change, but if you can't keep a person long enough, just HOW many
times do you have to go about showing the new guy their job JUST so you can get back
to your usual stuff?

Thats what happens when companies hire people who's resume looks like it belongs to a group of nomads........

If I see a history of not staying at a company longer that 2 years, and the position is not for a for-project consultant, I will not interview them.

I'm not the one doing the interviewing, and I understand if people want to pull stakes for greener pastures...
heck, I'm STILL contractor after 4.5years at this outfit and have had every reason to jump ship, but I haven't.

Tall and Cold again... looking at the list of things to do friday night and I'm half a mind to tell the boss
"I'm going home for dinner, then'll be back from 0100-0700AM to take care of this stuff."

W00t Drove 260Km/H on tze autobahn on my motorcycle .... man that felt fast .... Still had some gas left .. so 280 would be the next goal ...

anything over 90mph (~145kph) is damn scary on anything but a glass-smooth road. It also gets awfully hard to hold on.

Best guess, about 310KM. Also outran a motorbike rider without breaking a sweat... and boy was the motorbike
rider pissed!

Some LONG EXPECTED paperwork came into my posession finally... namely and offer to be a FULL employee
at a certain company I've been working for the last 4years as a contractor

Break out the napalm and heavier to celebrate. I have to go sign some papers.

Also figured out how to get SSH to work on the new IP address my ISP assigned me... stupid bleeping
config errors. Next up is a VPN config...
