Basically it is origin story of Raiden, Jonny Cage, Kitana , Mileena , Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Cyrax, Sektor, Jax and Sonya Blade.

Kano, Shang Tsung, Baraka, Shao Kahn, Sindel , Quan Chi, Kurtis Stryker show up as well. This before the torment and there are other major and minor characters that are absent in these shorts i.e. Liu Kang

The director of these shorts has been commissioned by WB to “reboot” the original Moral Kombat movie, There are rumors that the torment part will be on TV only.
