Weeeee!!!! Got power back. We came home last night to power and 6 inches of snow on the ground. I had some more trees to dodge on the side streets but man is it good to have power!!!!

Great News Killer! Any other good news to share all around?

It's a long weekend, and Noir and I kicked it off by going to see Skyfall. All I can say is "Kablooie!"
The story itself I would have to say wasn't standard Bond fare, and had you going WTF through the
first 1/2 of the movie wondering what the point was, but hey... plenty of guns and explosions to
keep the male mind occupied.

Lazy day today, and going to memorial services on Sunday... and a wonderful, WONDERFUL "no work
day" for me on Monday.

Tall and Cold, and an extra round (of the Bar Phalanx) for all!

Also Wreck-It Ralph was a nice nostalgic blast to the past for me. Can't wait for it to come out on DVD / BD.

Been a generally manageable week so far (not to jinx it), ticket queue was acutally down to ~150 by the time
I left today -- usually we hover around 200, but of late we've gotten as high as 300.

Oh yeah, anything in particular anyone wants in this year's "gifts from Canada?"

Its been crunch time at my job, so I haven't gotten a chance to pop in here. Now I'm up at my folks in Alantown, PA for Thanks Giving. I saw a couple of interesting e-cards:

It's been pretty good at work, ticket queue's been sitting around 120 steady... and we had a highlevel
Management visit, which unfortunately did not give much more outlook for the new year other than
"we're waiting and seeing." I'm not so worried about my own job security as those that are non-core...
alot of the staff have been here 1yr+ and, you don't just grow that knowledge, experience and camradrie
overnight.

Also I have to show up to work tomorrow, just when a friend's having his "freedom party" all day tomorrow... Bugger!

First off -- happy eviction from the womb day for me! Did a party in my
new place over the weekend that quite a few people showed up. I'm
now picking up the pieces from that as we speak.

Second, wanted to see Sskyfall with the family, but got in too late and a certain
family member said all that was left for seating was the front row. FML.

Third, Now on the 4th day off of my time off. I LOVE IT! Too bad I have
to go back on Jan 1st of 2013...

I should also get mailing out stuff to people. Last minute requests?
