...correction : ONE of the elevator's is fixed, the other's hopefully going to be worked on today.
As for this last weekend, yeah it was insane running our usual panels at Otafest -- we did a boardgames room,
which was VERY popoular and often had a full house in it.

Ran a Magical Battle Arena tournament, which hey, was nice to introduce people to the game -- as I STILL
haven't figured out the version with Nanoha S in it, didn't bring that in. Two other panels we ran were
as popular and braincracked as usual, thankfully not TOO much drama, but made for a weekend that I did
nothing BUT run those panels. No vendor room, no wandering around, no pictures *sighs*

This was a bit of welcome news over the weekend; I'll admit I'm a Moon fan and have always thought a case
of a rerelease was a case of "when" rather than "if." I'm mixed feelings right now about the whole "bluray release"
and "new dub." Just for chuckles I went back to some of the oneliners from the DIC dub, just for a good laugh.
My personal favorite was

"Dweebster? I dare him to show his simpy face around me! Grrrr... I'm going to blast him... straight into the chyronosphere!!!"
--An Animated Mess

WTF's a "chyronosphere?!"

How's everyone else otherwise? Oh yes, welcome back CPOK, where you been hiding?

...as for Nazis...

[/zombie pose]Hiiiiitler... Hiiiiitler... Hiiiiitler...

*blam*

Oh yeah, thought I'd mention :

http://area-zero.net/product/mba/dl.htm -- appears to be the new website for MBA

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7X8G2Ds_L8 -- MBA NEXT with a Tohou and Fate / Illiya characters... trailer was released Dec 2013.

...I'm REALLY behind on this. And did anyone ever figure out how to do MBA with the Nanoha S expansion? That was on my "to procrastinate on," then got moved to "to forget about" list *sighs*

Tall and Cold, weekend can't come soon enough!

Wahahahahaha!! Such a walk down memory lane.

"Would you want one of these?" It's Crapple, the only place it belongs is a boatanchor or stress relief
(ie. smash the s**t out of it!)

Tall and Cold, Noir and I hung out at the comics store this weekend; I FINALLY picked up (most) of a comics
storyline I've had my eye on for awhile now, the DC Superman Braniac / New Krypton / War of the Supermen arc, circa 2008-2010.
Wow! Why didn't I pick this up when it came out? How was everyone else's weekend?

Kewl kewl, still somewhat in limbo for when it comes to things at work. I've got a formal "sit down with someone and go over things"
meeting... and I'm still bashing my head against the wall for forms / IDs / permissions / etc.

But if no one's screaming, hey these last two months have been the most relaxed time I've had in a LONG time!

TGIF all! Round of Tall and Cold for everyone!

...and to start off the weekend, here's two funnies for the day :

Darwin Award Nominee Extrordinare -- SOMEhow thinks a CLOSED safety door is an obstacle to be overcome.

Using this the next time someone asks "so what do you do in your line of employment?"

Somehow I have this craving for pizza now?

Got you have to love the marketing dweeps @mycompany ..
We offer a VPS service ... just bare metal every VM hosts has a couple of VM's and if shit hits the fan I would restore an image backup (previous day) on a failover box and be happy.
Now they want to call it Cloud ... yeah we have to do cloud .. cloud this cloud that .. uuuuugh.

I've been telling them we don't do cloud .. we don't have shared storage and we only are in one DC location.

So now I have to go cloud .. but when I said I wanted a 30K budget for a SAN solution they started crying.. <g>

Guess we can go cloud'ish with 2012R2 replication ... 5 - 10 mins of dataloss is fluffy enough to name it cloud I suppose.

...call me crazy, but looking for AT&T on google in Calgary turns up our office, that I understand.
Yet people think we can help them with EVERYTHING but what we do at this particular office -- read :
today was the 2nd day I've had to tell ppl we do NOT do cellphone / sim card work at this location.

Good for a laugh for the day.

@Taurec

Want me to include the series in this year's Christmas care package, Taurec?

Noir and I spent saturday at a comics "show," D**N was there ALOT of stuff to look through! Had a few things I
wanted to pick up, but short of cash, unfortunately. All in all, a nice way to spend a lazy Saturday.

Spent part of sunday catching up on The Walking Dead comic #127.

How was everyone else's weekend?
