Back then, we had to WORK for it!

Glad you had fun man!

Enjoyed the long weekend in Edmonton with a couple friends--my car held up this time and didn't get into an accident. Enjoyed the water
park at West Edmonton Mall (too bad the lineups were a PITA), and generally messed around.

All in all, a nice getaway from the stuff waiting for me on my desk this morning...

Tall and Cold... going to be one of those kinds of weeks.

...and I'm learning to curse one name at work. Supposedly he's some manager-type for the HD levels below us.
All I see from him is "what's the status? what's the status?"

"The status is a useful 4letter word you are full of..." is what I'd like to tell him. I know I'm still new
to this role, but the way I'm getting treated by him is borderline harassment

Had fun lastnight at something called "beakerhead" -- get a bunch of people with too much time on their hands,
a bunch of skills -- music, construction, electronics, art, etc -- and a venue and you end up with "beakerhead."

Flaming Octopus, Laser Cat, and a $13,000 homemade treefort / nest topped my list

Also had to get up early to do a change...thankful to say THIS time it was APPROVED, the device could be found,
and it was successful!
