40 kids?! Damn that's a lot. That's pretty much how many kids in the U.S. are abducted by complete strangers a year, and all those kids dissapeared around the same time? Man, all of this is making me so depressed. 
FYI: In the U.S., there are about 20-50 cases of child abductions by complete strangers a year.
