Every Macross had this songs-can-do-wonders theme (it's its trademarkafter all) but it never looked like magic, or worked on inanimate objects... it was all about the feelings (and it didn't work very well after the originall Macross). In the final episodes of Macross Zero it looked like some magical musical girl of some sort would come and fight enemy VFs with magic battle songs (like a Roleplay Bard class)

Yea, I wasn't even gonna bother with this thread cuz I thought the ending sucked too but I'll flame it even more. :p

Well, the CG battle stuff is awesome, just that the story became too predictable and trite. I wasn't feeling their emotions and just wanna throw up instead. :puke:

Maybe I'll watch Do You Remember Love cuz that's the only Macross I've heard is decent. I've seen AMVs of it. =)

And Macross Plus should be very good too, though I still haven't watched it
