[Opinion] What do you want to see in 2nd Season

Like a lot people said before me, i would like to see more Chidori & Tessa rivality, but also preserv this friendship they have in FMP! cause they get along really well....also i would like Tessa to be seen more like an option to Sagara cause in FMP!, it's obvious that Chidori is THE choice due to all those moments in the series when Sagara thinks about Chidori or vice-versa. More of Mlissa and Kurz events, cause they too funny together!

Yeah Tes and Kaname aren't like the usual anime girl love-rivals- they don't hate each other or act real catty. Which is really nice

'Bout T and K- yeah- there's that late book stuff, but their relationship is still presented as one that's different from those two chicks in Tenchi (for famous example- or nadesico's yurika and megumi.)
That stuff you bring up seems more aimed at creating other divisions....

Hehe, well, I do expect there to be alot of fan bitching- not alot of fans or casual viewers will be pleased to learn that the second season will be quite different from the first.

Personally Im glad for the comedy- and I can understand how they are just animating it in a fashion similar to how it was published.
But I'm afraid many ordinary non-japanese fans won't understand that.

I kinda thought, way back in June, this might be the case if there were a second season.

Too bad the various stories couldn't have been better intergrated into a smooth animated feature.

(but then viewers would yell 'It's HALF filler!!')

I want them to add Kaname's sister into the mix. They rescued her in the first ep but she just disappeared off the face of the earth...filling out the plot holes would be nice too.

I was thinking about her a lot. Who was she, and what was her role in the film. But I never tought that she was Kaname's sister. Are you sure? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think she is too old to be her sister.
Anyhow, it's a good idea to give her sister a role too.
I could imagine, that she comes back to Japan with her father.
And that other girl you mentioned, who was saved by Sagara in the first episode. She could appear in the school too. Then it would be a love fourangle.

Teehee! If Full Metal Panic (second season or FMP2) comes out, I would like it if they had more advanced weaponry, like newer Armor Slaves and stuff. That would be cool. Also I would also like to see rivallry between Tessa and Kaname as well, but they should add more characters in there as well, like what Gauss_chan and [Sheky] said, like Kaname's sister and so on...But when people's see it before me, tell me what it's like okay?

AFAIK, Kaname only talks to her sister by phone (Okay, YOU try swimming your way from Tokyo to NYC

). The girl in the first ep (and first part of the book and manga) is never brought up again.

Gauss - There is no such thing as playing too much Freespace. I can go on fighting the Shivans ad infinitium if it wasn't for my anime needs.

Yeah, that girl is the first ep was never even given a name. She is even listed in some of the support materials and it's always as the girl without a name. I'd be interested to know where that theory came from....

I think, personally, I'm going to start thinking about what we can really expect in season two.
I expect Kaname's halisen to get a really good workout.
Sousuke to get a really good workout but still never really catch on how to live in society.
I'm hoping for lots of grenade-type weapons

I hope Tessa shows up at school.
I hope Bonta-kun doesn't take over the whole show.
But I hope they include the incident of how Bonta-kun came about.

And I hope they include the damn horse.

And we now have to hope they'll make a season 3, to get back to the other type of stuff

Well, just rewatched that ep and I was thinking, 'who is she,' and
'why don't we see more of her?'

I rather like the idea Chidori's sis and dad comes back and
meets Sagara. Can you see it? 'Dad, this is hentai-san aka. Sagara.
Don't mind him if he whips out a gun or anything' This sends her
little sister into fits of joy and attempts to hit on Sagara, Chidori
has more competition for Sagara....and Tessa too *hehe*

BTW, more 2nd season rumors that came by my way recently;
take with a grain of salt till we actually see 2nd season:
Mardukas comes back to Jindai as the English teacher (ooohkay)
and so does Mao as the school nurse (ummm, how well did she fill
that uniform out in 1st season?)[/b]
