i've read an overview of "tsuzuku on my own" and it seems everything hits rock bottom by the end of this book

and the next book is already halfway too, titled "Moeru One Man Force" ........ you guys talk about the slight change of settings for the each book released so far... wait til you start on that one >///<

I'll have to say, this novel is really good so far! x3 I can't wait for the next chapter to come out.

there's another book after COMO? does that mean if there is a next anime series, it's not gonna be the last one?

i've read the chapters and yes, i believe leonard should die. a horrible death over and over and over.

And why was chidori yelling at sousuke for shooting leonard? it's not "rude," it's prudent. that part didn't make sense. But i understand why she flinched when sousuke tried to touch her, it's different when you get told to ur face how many ur bf killed. she'll recover easily and kick herself for flinching, but sousuke will probably be hesitant to touch her for a while. but they will survive, it's their thing.

I loved the hand holding scene, i love the way sousuke's shaping up to be.

i believe he'll set up traps in her apartment w/o telling her, i mean come on! he's done dangerous stuff like that since forever (remember the bread selling escapade?)

I don't like the names of the books they all imply that it is about one person or both apart "continuing on MY OWN" "ONE MAN force" they make me nervous....

Yeah that was silly, I mean he's pulled a gun on just about everyone in the class so why on earth would she expect him not to shoot a member of a terrorist organisation that appears in her apartment?

If I were her I would be grateful that I wasn't alone when I came home and that he was looking out for me!

well i don't think she's ever seen souske actually kill any1 (using a gun) has she? my mind is all fuzzy after doin hw + classes for a while -_- i mean, she probably looked at him, saw him look really determined/angry (at leo) and she thought, wow he wants to kill him... so she probably without thinking just goes neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeohhhhhh, b/c well that's the humane thing to do

*shrug*

i don't think she acted outside of her character...

Actually, Chidori did see Sousuke kill someone in the submarine incident. Donigun or some like that.

It just seems insane that a teenage girl living alone would be like that when someone who she knows is a villain has found his way in. Not that my dislike of Leonard is making me wish Sousuke had shot him in the face and killed him or anything...

hehe yea, well i still think despite all the hitting souske she still wouldn't want to see someone get killed...she's anti-bloodshed

but yea i probably woulda gone with souske on this one...

It's a good thing Sousuke didn't think about why she hits him for doing his military related antics, and not a guy who sneaked into her living quarters, plus someone who stole something special to her, but Sousuke doesn't know about it, pobably another good thing.

Kaname was probably a little shocked with the [ecs]Mizuki[/ecs] thing, but Kaname just got over it or just forgot about it after she got Sousuke's talk about reviving past comrades in arms. I don't think it will affect Sousuke if he ever found out, it probably would have affected him if he was actually witnessing [ecs]the enemy Leonard, kissing Kaname[/ecs]. Probably more pissed off than anything with Leonard.

And so, another episode of this novel has been released by Boku Tachi, and may I just say that from now on there's likely going to be spoilers from the latest chapters...so if you're reading this..

Why the hell are you reading a forum rather than the newest chapter?

Anyway, thoughts:

Absolutely huge cliffhanger of an ending...everyone is left in some odd position where we don't know what is going to happen...I mean...I recon they'll all live...but still.

It's very interesting how Sousuke is yet again feeling like hell because of his difference from Kaname...but there's something that makes it even more blatantly obvious. The point where Kaname asks if she should fire at the car behind them... His reasoning is interesting. At first he provides a relatively legitimate excuse, that she hasn't had any training...which is, after all, relatively legitimate...but his phrasing 'you are not to touch a gun' and the whole 'she mustn't' thing...

It's so obvious that he feels like some kind of demon because of his, well, role as a killer...and he considers her innocent, and very much wants her to remain that way.

It's like he's got some kind of crusader complex going, with 5 holy pledges...:
"
1: I will protect all that is good and pure in this world, and destroy all that is evil, by becomming evil myself
2: I will help other people not to walk my path, as it is a path of shadow and darkness, whenever I can
3: I will keep the taint of evil from those who are good and those who are pure
4: I am a demon who kills demons, a vampire who drinks the blood of vampires. I am as accursed as those I eradicate, and there is nothing that redeems me.
5: So when all is said and done, when all the evil is gone, and only good remains in the light, I will turn my back to it and forevermore walk in shadow.

That's the way it seems to me, anyway.

Oh yeah, and overall, really cool chapter. Love it to death.

Now this is what I have been waiting for. I can't believe I never thought of destruction by cruise missiles...And why did the Operations Headquarters in Sydney fail to detect the missles when the Indian and Merida Island bases did?

What did Tessa mean about Sousuke's plan already being acted upon before? The technology released could have been the AS. I'm still not sure if the AS were created by Black Tech or by "regular" means, I'm opting for Black Technology.

I have to say that this one is the most gripping by far as of yet. At least in my opinion. While this chapter was hard enough to wait so long for, the next one will be even more impossible to remain patient. Too many cliff-hangers!

A lot of introspective detail with Sousuke, which parallels nicely with the external conflict being waged around him. It feels like practically nothing happened during the chapter because once I started reading, events began to escalate progressively. Clearly quite a bit did occur however; I believe--actually I know--I will be re-read the chapter a number of times over to fully absorb all the details. Prehaps then I will go more into depth on my opinions and ponderings.
Until that time, I shall end with the most unoriginal and unispired comments that still voice quite adequately and quite succinctly, my lingering thoughts:
Great chapter.
Can't wait for the next.

The Sydney hq is probably bombed by bombers with ECS. It might be harder to detect that instead of regular cruise missiles.

Ya, that was some nice inner thoughts of Sousuke about his killer self.
