Manga Vol 8 (split)

Just an update on the japanese manga release (since I don't have a good place to post it elsewhere ATM):

Vol 8 came out this month, and it begins that final story arc in the main series, and vol 9 will finish it (est around Mar 2005 I guess).

And finally they give the inside dustcover to Sousuke.
(who's up for Vol 9? The G-Man?)

I have a few scans to make, maybe tomorrow

A little something in this vol for almost all the main chars...

The undie pic
Color page: Scary. You're warned.
Title page: Group pic (If you look carefully, there are 5 people in there. Honest!)
Title page: Boys and Toys
Title page: A Goddess

This volume didn't have a fold-out- it has a two page spread, a group pic with a very typical layout. I would have scanned it if it were more interesting ... (but its not, IMO)

BTW, this volume seriously looks alot more like the anime than any of the prior ones, I think. There were alot of visual similarities before, but in this one I more easily spotted the (few) differences.

note: my title page 'names' are descriptive, NOT the chapter names !

I'm pretty sure its supposed to look like an old-school raygun (à la Fireball XL5).

It's likely either that or a bubblegun.
