Will the series be longer?

Ive recently just finished watching and collecting the entire Full metal panic FUMMOFU! portion of the series. Im working on getting the Full metal panic DvDs but in the mean time I was wondering if anyone has any news as to weather the series is complete for good with only haveing these 2 seasons or will it continue on to a seasons 3. By the way does season 3 already exist? im kinda confused. Please post!
