Who's the guy with the headband?

In the opening and closing credits we see a guy with green hair and a headband. Anyone know who he is and what he's like?

We'd just discussed this guy in an earlier thread, but his name eludes me.
Supposedly he's another fellow student @ Jindai high. Supposedly a
martial arts nut, and Sousuke's BITTER rival for Kaname's attentions
and affections.

My apologies for the redundancy. I scanned the thread titles and didn't see anything that looked related to him specifically (can't use the search function since I don't know the name). Thanks for the info. And I am not at all surprised that he is a martial arts nut. When I saw him in the credits I thought "He looks like a kid who reads to much Mishima Yukio."
