Hmm...Seems real simple. I'll just say what other's have not.
The Haircut: Sousuke let down his guard around Kaname. He never does that. EVER. Yet he found himself falling asleep.
Fumoffu when Tessa came: Sousuke mainly viewed her as a burden. Sure he cared, but having to guard the both of them nearly killed him. (Hot Rice is dangerous on the face!).
He disobeyed orders from Kalinin. Huge. Utterly Huge, Insubordination from the Moody Military Maniac? That sure counts for something.
Sousuke's Covert Jealousy: He's got it bad folks. His reactions at the park, what he did to Mizuki's girlfriend.
Dialogue: He said Kaname was beautiful, and was clearly blown away by her in her mother's kimono. That works! FMPF. He was a blushing fool.
The whole homeland arc? She was waiting for him. C'mon. Classic reference. The soldier's girlfriend waits for him to come home. It makes sense.

I'm just saying, those Tessa fans can have her. Because she doesn't really love Sousuke. She's got more guts than Kaname in admitting "her" feelings. Why?

Whispered Resonance. They share part of themselves. Kaname was worried about Sousuke during the exchange between Tessa and Kaname. She cared about him deeply. This was shared with Tessa when they did the whole Resonance thing. So Tessa is actually feeling what Kaname feels about Sousuke (not as deep of course). BOOYAH!

...and I'm gonna assume the haircut story is from the novels?, since I've seen FMP! FMP?F and the first 4 volumes of the manga & havent seen it...

With sufficient cryout, we can TOPPLE the Sagara/Kaname position!

Plus FMP would be much better if Kaname were the jealous one for awhile.

Why does Sagara have to go out with Kaname to start with?

Um.... Right....

Lets take a look at the Jealous Kaname, which actually happens quite alot. Every time Tessa is around and manages to say something that shakes Kaname up. When Mizuki tells Sagara that they need to go out on a date and have the over night study session thing at Kaname's house. The whole 'Tell Me you love me.' part of the scene. In the manga when Sousuke is constatly with Tessa during school, PROTECTING her but Kaname thought it was more than that. During the Behemoth parts, when Sousuke chose Tessa to run over first because she was not as physically fit for any type of situation like that!

Im not familiar with the novels so some people help me out here....

Now that i thought about it in the other thread.
I really just want Souske to find some other girl, walk away with her. and totally leave Kaname and Tessa behind. That would be the craziest plot twist ever. If Kaname could be more daring like Tessa about her feelings, she'd probaly win Souske, just like that
