Funimation?? We even going to see a dual-lang DVD release,
or is it going to be like DB(any) where there's ever only going to be
the Eng-dub version commercially available?
managed to get my hands on Akeep's ep31 before it was taken off. hope the other subbers will continue. reminds me of seed with only a few eps left to the end when it got licenced.

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

There is an article about FMA in the July 2004 edition. The game is a side story that is related to the series by the basics, other than that it has nothing to do with the main story.
Plus an American release date has "supposidly" been announced. It airs on Cartoon Networks Adult Swim on October 23, 2004...
American release for the DVDs is January 2005. Hope someone finds this information useful!!
Well, I've pretty much watched FMA ep33 to ep43 in a roll. I'm so glad I didn't have to wait a week after every one of those cliff hanger endings :p. This series is at it's climax, almost everything is revealled except who's controlling the bad guys. This is the only series that's longer than 26 episodes that I've followed since the very first episode, I'm so proud of my self .
yeah, all the fma aficionados were going crazy during that period waiting for each new ep to be aired. the anime differed from the manga so no one knows the ending. i think the unanswered question that is on everyone's mind is who is HE?
Well, the TV series has ended and I just watched the last episode, ep51. The ending is rather anti-climatic... the whole world of the afterlife stuff didn't seem like it belonged in this series.
The series went downhill for me after the death of Lust and Sloth. And com'on Edward, if you wanna go back to your world, just kill yourself and you'll hop through the gate again. :p

lol if any of his fangirls read this, they'd be hopping mad.
spoilers wrote:Yeah, the ending wasn't very good, the "gate" has been over-used in the last few episodes... I think the series was awesome in the first half, very good till the last few eps, and good in the rest. Maybe the best part of the last ep was the fight between Mustang and King Bradley, with his poor son coming back just to get killed
Some things were left without answer, but they are making the FMA movie, so they couldn't close every part of the plot.
Summing up, a very good series; but I still like Scrapped Princess more
Yet, now I have one less anime to watch... let me check a few new titles...
(I hope you don't mind me resurecting this thread, but it makes better sense than starting a new one.)
I just recently started watching this Anime. I really like it. It lacks romance which I usually gravitate towards, but the story line makes up for it. I'm a huge science fiction person, so this is right up my alley.
Anybody buy the boxset? I would like to, I found it several places pretty cheap.
Yea, not much romance... and any that are there is low priority. Pretty good series overall. The sequel movies do wrap it up much better than the TV ending.
