trying something new....this is sort of tongue-in-cheek if you can't tell

Has Full Metal Panic (the series) changed your life?
Do you experience a new feeling of inner peace?
Are you newly aware of your special place in the world, and in life, since discovering the glory of FMP?

Or are you more energized with zest and joy?
Do you feel the burning need to seek out new answers to new questions?
Do you find yourself wishing for more, yet content with what you have?

If Full Metal Panic has changed your life, are you willing to share the love and wonder with your brothers and sisters?
Are you willing to stand before the masses and proudly declare your newfound devotion?

If so, FM*P! is accepting your testimonial!
Simply write a brief summary of how FMP has affected your life, or the lives of your loved ones (anime clubs included).
may be written as seriously or as non-seriously as the writer desires, but please try to base it somewhere near the Truth

Donation testimonials will be published in the under-construction fan section of my website, with the writer's permission.
Appreciation to SoraKirei for the idea

My original exposure to FMP was from my friend Kathy mid summer of 2001. I was kinda hestitant to watch something new since I already had a backlog, but she hooked me with Tomokazu Seki voices the main male lead. So she sat me down and I watched the first episode. I really enjoyed it, but I got distracted and didn't really watch the second episode.

Time passes, and I was thinking it would be cool to see the rest of FMP. I started getting some digisubs of it, but never got around to watching them.

More time passes and it was late summer 2002, and I was talking with the anime club's president. His list of anime candiates included FMP. My ears perked, and I totally supported that. "Yes, FMP that would be a great series to show!!" I totally pushed it with him.

FMP is being well received at PJAC. Our attendance is up. People are singing along to the theme song. They haven't done that since Kenshin in 1999. I never stopped singing even if it was instramental Heck, we even had a Chidori and Sagara show up for Halloween. ^_^

FMP has not changed my life but has become my favorite series unseating the long standing Escaflowne and the brief unseating/co-seated Comic Party. I don't think I could have a favorite series that Seki didn't voice someone. *giggle*

I'll go with mine.

The first time I watched FMP was on April 20th 2003. Yeah, I'm a newcomer. it's been what, 2 years since it was released?

I first heard about it from AnimeNfo and wasn't too excited about it. Then a friend burned all the episodes for me and passed them on. I procrastinated in watching it, since I had a backlog of about 6 series then.

Once I actually got around to watching it though, I was blown away. It was funny, the animation was excellent and I loved the OP and EDs. Plus I just couldn't get Kaname and Tessa out of my head.

I wouldn't really say it's changed my life, since anime's already done that. But I'm really looking forward to its continuation and their continuing experiences.

lol well the FMP didn't change my life but it did change my opinion of anime. Okay some would argue that's a notable change in a person's life. :-P It has also drawn me to this forum, and I'm not usually the chatty type so... here's to making new friends, particularly in unlikely places! :)

Yea, I was interested enough in FMP to join my first anime forum. This is a nice forum, active but not too big like animesuki's forum.

It made me laugh a couple of times. Even a bit teary eyed at the end. All in All FM*P Was well worth the hours I've spent my life focusing on it.

I was introduced to Full Metal Panic! through the second season. I previously had not seen it before, but I had heard some occasional comments about it, and I always wondered if it was connected to Full Metal Jacket...

But anyways, I was on a DC hub in the autumn of 2003, and this guy's like. "Man check this out, it's called Full Metal Panic! It's the funniest stuff you'll see," or something like that.

So the guy gives me a link to an FTP server and the password to dl the first two eps of Fumoffu. And I laughed... hard.

Then before going any further with Fumoffu, I watched the first season... and I was pretty much hooked.

I wouldn't say changed, I'd say accentuated certain parts. Most certainly It's restored my confidence in Anime. I had lost it after the Last Azumanga Daioh Episode...Interestingly enough I had only heard about the series before this year and had never seen it.

As for inner peace, I'd say not until the whole relationship between Sousuke and Kaname has been brought to a satisfactory point, I won't be calm (same with Tenchi), in terms of my favorite series. Overall, knowing that you can bring Stery TMPs to school and people think they are toys...has given me inner peace.

I've always had a special, reserved space. Full Metal Panic just made me aware that you can spout statistics and have no idea about women, and get one to care about you. *wipes eyes* I've got hope for my future after all!

Energized...Nope. Unless I take more than the 30mgs in the morning of Adderall. Nope. I do want to go out to a shooting range more often now.

Yes. The cyclic rates and RAOF of every weapon that exsists, which weapons are best, everything about weapons. Not aircraft...Already did that.

I want more! MORE MORE MORE! NOW! I am content, but am hungry for more.

It has changed my life immensely, and I am willing to share this! Glock 17's that aren't loaded can be snuck onto aircraft!

Nope. People think I'd was more insane than I already am.
