It was very funny when i saw it the first time, the fights looked just sooo familiar (cowboy bebop'ish) i stopped in the middle and had to find out first.
Well fansub #7 was released a while ago, i still have to watch it.

I just watched ep7, it's very much like Cowboy Bebop's "Waltz for Venus."

Every episode has a nice balance of comedy and action, the trio seems to get into trouble where ever they go. Very entertaining.

im gonna watch it today .... my god episode 6 was hilarious ...

you know what .. the dutch in it was quite good ....

Yea, first time I ever seen something like it in anime

. I wanna find out who did his voice. Whether it is really a Dutch guy or a Japanese voice actor that did it or some other foreigner.

Ah, ANN's encyclopedia is finally back and the guy who voiced Jouji (the Dutch guy) is Yoshitada OHTSUKA. I didn't realize it until I saw he also does Jiraiya from Naruto. Heh.

It's too bad that fansubs have been slow in coming out (in English, at least... there's a French group...) because this show gets even more awesome with each episode.

Having just watched 9, I can safely say it's even funnier than 6. Now, for a brief summary...

The group comes to a checkpoint, where they need a passport to cross. They buy a fake one and get arrested. They're about to be executed when the officials realize that they executed a fugitive who had a bounty on him. So, they choose Mugen to take the head through the pass and, if he returns in a timely manner, they all go free. They send a young official along, who's narrating the story.

However, there's a group of "Tengu" who inhabit the pass and keep all from entering. Mugen and subsequently the official get captured and the Tengu turn out to be a cult of militant monks intent on bringing about a revolution.

The official turns out to be quite useful and manages to set fire to their cell. They get out and the entire camp catches fire as Mugen fights off the monks. Soon, they're lamenting that their "sacred crop" is being burned. As Mugen charges the leader, he starts to hallucinate...

Back at the checkpoint, Mugen hasn't come back so Jin and Fuu are crucified (though not in the Passion of the Christ matter... I might mention that Fuu looks particularly fetching on her cross). However, a strange, billowing smoke engulfs the checkpoint and everyone starts laughing...

As it turns out, the "sacred crop" was pot and the smoke has engulfed the country side. Fuu and Jin escape and find Mugen, hallucinating with the monks, laughing and joking with them. In the end, the young official looks back fondly on that day...

Seriously, this episode is awesome. Sheer brilliance.

Yea, ep9 is the latest one I watched also. The funniest moment is when it's sundown and Fuu sees a guy running back in the distance and thought he was Mugen but it turns out to be the jogger.

I've just watched ep15. Ep13 and 14 were about Mugen's past, the episodes were good, but I enjoy the funny ones the most so I'm really pleased with ep15.

They come across some money and Mugen and Jin use it to go to a brothel (again). One of the girls is an undercover shinobi out to reveal the hidden counterfiet mint operation there. She can't keep Mugen off of her so she uses his horniness to get him to do what she wants (beat up the bad guys)

Mugen after being kicked in the crotch, "Strong women are my type."
