I liked it alot. I'm wondering maybe how Kanlin's ex-Soviet ties might effect things personally but I doubt either Sousuke or Tessa would mind him developing a relationship.

Note: This is based from the anime only, I have no idea what else she's hiding in the manga and/or novels.

Mikihara Ren

Looks: I would describe it as a derivative of... the traditional beauty look. Long, violet locks framing a sweet, serene, sensual... sometimes sombre visage... The perfect petite body... I could go on, but I have to dream soon.

Smarts: Unknown. I'd estimate that she gets average grades if not above, or that she's at the top of the class.

Personality: Soft, kind, shy (perhaps), passive. Seems like she'd make a great housewife.

Cooking: Uncertain. She seems to be able to make tea rather well, and has the ability to make lunches. I would estimate adequate cooking skills based on some Fumoffu episodes.

Fighting Skills: From what I've seen... none. She should start taking classes soon however. A Fumoffu episode revealed the that a Yakuza lord's daughter is a prime target for danger.

Special Abilities: The Yakuza Connection, also has the uncanny ability to stay calm in any situation.

Competition: The only apparent competition would be that of Hayashimizu Atsunobu, the Student Council President. From what I've gathered, she "admires" the prez, but there's bound to be a deeper connection. The president doesn't seem to notice, to my knowledge, so if you can distract her from that... "admiration" then... she's... all yours.

Inlaws: I'd exercise caution around her Yakuza protectors, and her ailing(?) father. Mother is likely deceased, likely an only child. One wrong move... and, it's over.

Economics: Unless the police decide to do anything about that certain Yakuza ring, you're likely going to be well-off if you manage to marry into the family. Be sure to wear a vest at all times and carry a sidearm.

Sex: Likely a first-timer, likely shy, you'll likely have to initiate contact, but after that, it might be smooth sailing on the vanilla road.

Overall: This is a rose with no thorns, but hard to get at because of the thorns surrounding it. This is likely one of your best bets. I'd rather get involved with the Yakuza then some paramilitary organization or the neo-KGB or other international terrorist groups.
Just keep the inlaws happy and hope your enemies aren't aiming at your head. You could always elope... to a different country. I hear Canada is a nice getaway spot.

Looks: Shinji seems to be the average guy, not a real looker, but the typical guy you get to fix your computer.

Smarts: He's smart, seems to have a broad range of interests and specialises in military hardware.

Personality: Friendly,the typical nice and passive a kind, but he shows a lot of determination and willpower when girls underwear is involved.

Cooking: Uncertain. but i assume his mother is a good cook. <g>

Fighting Skills: Usually you breathe hard to knock him down, He has no known fighting skills. Unless his hormones are acting up.

Special Abilities: Shows remarkable marksmanship, ferocity speed and agility when hormones are soaring through his blood.

Competition: Bwahaha.

Inlaws: His father is a Mecha technician, Guess it's the a pretty standard family.

Economics: Pretty standard, But i suspect he blows his allowence on dating sims and military related literature (and ecchi magazines <g>)

Sex: He will either die a virgin or turns into the pimp of the century if he's to become a student of Kurz Weber.

Overall: The average invisible nice person, Who is needed to get you the latest sim dating games.

imho some of the discussion in here had a "hard" edge. Maybe it was not meant that way, but still, it's there.

Looks TOTAL doormat / demure babe type. Clean her up a bit,
and you'd get a real bellringer

Smarts Unknown. First time we saw her, she just had her Whispered
abilities 'activated,' so probably growning exponentially and (semi)out of
control

Personality Unknown. Shy and timid, possibly in response to
her new-found abilities.

Cooking Unknown Quantity.

Fighting Skill None. Has been assigned a Mithril guard.

Special Abilities Confirmed Whispered

Competition Her Mithril Protector... you have to go thru his
dead carass first if you want her

Sousuke: one of the few ppl he's ever told his real name to WITHOUT
killing them afterwards

InLaws Unknown. Possibly killed when she was kidnapped by the Soviet Union

Economics Unknown quantity. Insufficent data to make a guess

Sex Probably a virgin / first timer. She's a redhead, so maybe she's
a cougar underneath that shell of sugar-sweet innocence

Bonta-kun

Looks: Big fluffy and cuddly spotted bear that sports a cute brimmed hat.

Smarts: Intellegent quickthinker, but also shows a great deal of sympathy to other anthropomorphs. (Pony-pony-pony)

Personality: Kind, and soft, but is also agressive when it comes to defending park goers from evil doers.

Cooking: Unknown.

Fighting Skills: Stand-back, cause when he opens up a can of whoop-ass and pummels his enemies with paws-of-rage attacks, and the horrific 'nutcracker' attack, no one is left standing.

Special Abilities: capable of weilding firearms without the use of fingers.

Competition: Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy, Chip&Dale, the Seven Dwarfs, the Looney Tunes clan, and the [url=mms://streams.sixflags.com/MR6waterwall]old hyperactive dude that drives the six flags bus[/url]. (da-dat-da-dat-da-dah-dah da-dat-da-dat-da-dah-dah)

Inlaws: A being of polyester and cotton has no inlaws.

Overall: If you're into fluffy stuffed animals, then this is your neurotic dream come true. But some people's dreams are other's nightmares, and you wouldn't want to meet him in an alley if you've managed to peeve him.

However, I have other likes on the show and next we'll see my handling of SEIYA!

Seina

Looks: Arguably the most attractive of Full Metal Panic's women after Miss Testarossa; Seina has short red hair, is slightly taller than the rest of the girls close to her age, and VERY well fills out a plugsuit (nope-no Eva influence here!)

Smarts: Seina is the leader of A-21 and frankly is probably a natural genius. Her plans are brilliant in their use of equipment even if they are appallingly brutal in their simplicity. While not the tactician Tessa is and not likely the creator of the Behemoth with the presence of Amalgam....she has kept them under the radar of Mithril until the time of her revenge.

The fact she more or less kicks around Mirthil and company with her 'brother' outsmarting them yet she smarter than him...indicates you may be dealing with a partner you will be under the velvet glove of.

Personality: Seina is a hard woman that doesn't let emotions come easily to her unless they are rage, anger, sadness, and disgust. Seina wants friendship, companionship, and mentor figures but her life has more or less screwed up her compass seriously as to what those are. There is a mild suicidal undertone to her actions as well.

It's entirely likely direct advances will be met with violence and you will have to be VERY cautious as to not scare her off if she makes advances towards you (she likes old Sean Connery dudes apparently)

Cooking: Somehow Home Economics isn't something I think was probably taught by her mentor....unless its explosives out of common household items.

Fighting Skills: After Gauron and whomever is in his immediate vicinity, A-21 is the most dangerous terrorist group in the world it seems. It's quite likely Seina got there by being the meanest, toughest, cruelest, and most talented one of them all since its quite obvious many of the other 'kids' were quite older.

Special Abilities: Seina doesn't seem to have much in the way of special abilities but she's managed to apparently get Amalgam's backing (a pity she died so early- its fun to imagine how Leonardo might have messed with her being the shameless seducer that he is)

She's also a freaking good pilot from impliance and can probably use whatever toys they give her.

Competition: The memory of her dead mentor is a major problem. She apparently had a serious crush on him and it being her only positive relationship it seems to have permenantly pressed itself onto her. Expect ALOT of comparisons....at least at first. Were she to have lived, she'd probably have a thing for Kanlin too....which goes to show you that she's got a thing for OLD OLD OOLLLLDer guys.

Also there's a creepy incest vibe with her 'brother.'

Inlaws: Her 'brother' is the most immediate one and quite likely whether in dub voice of Shinji or japanese voice cute, he'll kill you. If you are SICK SICK SICK you'll sick him on Tessa though and Seina will become a stranger to him.

Her A-21 gang will also likely treat you as family....for better or worse.

Economics: She gets her money from somewhere to build things like Behemoth, probably less blatantly murderous things like Gauron does.

Sex: Personal interpretation- Seina seems to have some serious abuse/power/control issues. Getting her into bed will either be meaningless or a great challenge for any real intimacy.

She might be very experienced but emotionally dead or resistant to sexual touch.

Overall: A spectacular catch for a man willing to follow her to Hell (literally) but someone that takes the heart of a guy who looks suspiciously like Sean Connery to melt.

Pity, a good guy or Sosuke might have given her something to live for (wouldnt Tessa and Chidori have been steamed!)

I actually guessed the father issues. she seems to act a great deal like an abuse victim and it was mentioned in her write up in the subtext.
