HK's first FULL CG movie... but it's got alot of anime characteristics going
for it. A local boy named Lang is going thru the motions of life -- school,
work, wooing the local pretty LingLing -- when a magical bird drops into
his life who knows where the mytical DragonBlade is located. When a
monster and ninja start terrorizing the town, Lang may be the only one
who can deal with them both.

The CG work is SUPERB!! Ran it by a CG animator friend of mine and even
he could find little fault with it -- rivals Shrek, et al co. Lipsync definately
doesn't suffer from the 'forced to fit' problem. Fight sequences practically
rival liveaction fights. I thought the story was along the lines of typical
fantasy -- raise a team and go on a great quest -- but that wasn't the case.

Downsides? Slow start for one... but when it picks up -- and believe me
you'll KNOW when it picks up -- it pulls no punches!! The other is
it's so corny you'll be mystefied whether to die laughing or live crying!
Some things off the top of my head: the 'wise old drunk' guy's sub lines
read like Yoda's reversed wisdoms, the obvious 'watch out behind you'
cracks, the Jackie Chan-esque gagreel at the end... the ULTIMATE
kicker is when Lang meets the guardian spirit of the DragonBlade. I won't
spoil it, but it's just so good it's bad, it's so bad it's good!!! *ROTF           *

If you get a chance to get your hands on this title... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
I can say no more than that

Yaaaaaaaaay for the HK animation industry. ^_^ *hopes to work there someday...* It looks impressive, I'll have to check it out. Although I thought HK's first CG movie was Thru the Moebius Strip? It premiered at Cannes last year or something, but I could be wrong.

*runs off to find movie*
