Glad to help.

And I know what you mean about wanting to see the rest of it. I didn't think much of the series when I first heard about it, but then about a month and a half ago I had the opportunity to meet Johnny Young Bosch for a bit, and he suggested it to me and a friend of mine. So, I picked up the first volume, loved it (and found out that Johnny is Claus' voice, wonder why he suggested it, lol). Soon as I had the chance I went and picked up and watched the next four volumes as well, and can't wait for more of it. :-D

Got my V5 today.... had something to keep me humming during my shift
at work, so all is good. Got a peek inside before I left: NICE little illustration
of Alistia & Tatiana... and as Mal says, the specs for the Disith warship -- hey,
I'm a tech and specs freak :-D I REALLY don't know about this 'paper model'
of Tatiana's vanship... seems like too much of an afterthought to me.

...as usual, I SO enjoyed eps 17-20 on this disc. However, given that it's
a 7disc set, I'm kinda not looking forward to a possible 3ep + 3ep release
for Vols 6 and 7. How are they going to make up for that? Perhaps
an interview with the series creator / writer and some of the background
and thought(s) he had while coming up with this world. Many questions still
abound as to the Grand Stream, the worlds of Anatoray and Disith, EXILE
and Alvis herself, etc.

Interesting Last EXILE discussion thread here
if anyone's interested

Insert is of the Anatory ships... I'm guessing V7 will be the Guild ship or the EXILE?

without realising it, dio and luciora slowly crept into my list of favs and kinda missed them towards the end. sigh, why did it have to be alex? :( still the ending was quite acceptable.

I'm watching the series now (they're broadcasting it on local TV right now, so this should clue some people in to my nationality), and I have to say that it's one of the best series to turn up so far. The music is great (I always liked the orchestral types), the CG is incredible, and the characters are quite likeable. (Dio still scares me, though. :? )

For some reason, a Last Exile/FMP crossover came to my mind. A mysterious ghost ship sails the skies in the name of righteousness, EXILE as Black Technology, Lambda drivers holding battleships in mid-air... and both done by GONZO (at least in part for FMP) to boot.

Now all I need is to actually finish watching the series so that I don't get anything wrong.
