Karas .. looks to me like a hightech futuristic ninja OAV

the official website is www.thekaras.net but it wasn't very helpful in giving more information .. and all google did was point to porn links

If you have more info .. please post it here, the animation in the trailer looked interesting..

Will have to wait until the weekend to see the trailer. But, "hightech futuristic ninja OAV?" That sounds pretty cool.

More like, mystical high-tech magic ninja fighting youkai in present day Tokyo. Promos have been out for a while, and ep1 has been fansubbed.

I havent been that excited about a serie in half a year atleast!!
finally a serie with backbone!! it even has weapon fights like no tomorrow and good animation!!!

all the effects were awsome!

Im quite certain this will become a hit!

Looks nice, I watched ep1. The CG is awesome (too bad though the fansub is rather low video quality). The animation's like GitS2 movie style. There's another torrent out yesterday, dunno if it's English sub, but it's a large file (higher vid quality?) and I'm getting it now.

Storywise, it's a bit confusing since it's doing the "jump into the middle of things with little explaination to audience." I'm sure things will become clear after a few more episodes. This is a 6 ep OAV right? But I found a (spoiler if you don't wanna know what's going on already) synopsis for the series:

The lighting for ep2 is so dark that I have to wait until night time and turn off the lights to watch it. :p

In Ep2, the CG action scenes are still awesome, lots of guns, throwing weapons, swords.

The story is a little easier to follow but still very clueless to the background unless you already know it (by reading the synopsis).

Ive seen episode one, the anime is sooo amazing!
The character design is pretty nice, too
except the lips.
The ending of ep 1 was also very nice... Maya Sakamoto?
