FMP/Sousuke winskin (classic skin)

Just wanted to showcase my newly finished Sousuke skin. Made/tested on winamp 2.9 but is workable on winamp 5 (classic mode). Altho on winamp 5, I'd rather you switch to 'use bitmap fonts' instead of the default BIGASS font... or not Sousuke will have to contend with large song title going over his face...

skinned windows; main, eq & playlist. No Minibrowser & AVS sorry. Includes a non-working eq file.

No offence intended, but... Purple hair???

Perhaps you should stick to black hair and a light-coloured background. (Is it also too late to suggest that Sousuke should have a little more of a tan?)

i did not recolor the hair. shikidouji illustrations have this strange colour scheme the animators did not stick to... with good reason

altho i have to admit the colours came out a lil strong due to filters I have to apply to mask the horrible horrible source image (low res scanning, saved at a low setting.. did not compliment the watercolours)

Yeah, I forgot the novel illustrations.

Should've picked a better picture, really - this one makes Sousuke look a little chubby in the face.

in actuality, I prefer the illustration/manga imgs more than the anime ones. Cel-style colouring never won me over...

But, OMG, more winamp skins! It's been so long since I've downloaded new winamp skins, must gobble these up.

Though the Tessa skin is too white for me, from the Sleepy Slug site, I got the Mahoro skin, Slayers skins, and Sailor Mercury (she's so cute

) skin.

And roronoa-zoro.net? Ya! Fellow One Piece fan! I also like and downloaded your Furuba "If You Sleep Soundly" skin. Not much a fan of Fruit Baskets but that skin does look really nice.

Also got your Robin skin.

My winamp version is 2.80. I hate updating programs that works well already. Besides, newer versions usually take up more diskspace and include some other crap I won't use.

Requests huh? I've always liked this picture from Jae's gallery:

All 3 of them might be too crowded for the skin, keep Kaname if you want to crop out some of them. I don't care about those other 2. ^.^

I know how you feel.. I'm content with winamp 2.9 Plus winamp 5 seems to eat up all of my available memory. If it ain't broke don't fix it, y0.

Anyway... my next project is a Kaname-themed skin. I haven't had any ideas on which picture to use yet... so far, a pic of Kaname in a shrine maiden outfit from Jae's site or the girls in overalls calender cover :9 has been considered.
But Circle's idea seems do-able. There is a much nicer scan from Jae's site. (High probabilty that Sousuke & Hayashimizu will be cut since they would in the way of control buttons and stuff

)
