Fumo figure box sets

Someone is selling the Kaname figure on ebay. And they ship to the US.

I was actually thinking of buying it, then I saw the shipping and handling fee, and I also realized I don't have that kind of money in my reserves right now. lol


I'm still saving up for the new FMP dvd slimboxset that ADV just released. Going for around 45-50 on some site I know. But charging $10 for s+h is just wrong.

Maybe it's time to sell of some of my anime collection to support my new addiction. ><

THat just reminded me, I have a bunch of ink jet transfer paper that I have no use for. Mayeb I'll do an anime shirt or two.

I'm going to put a clear coat on a guitar I'm fixing up. I can use the old transparency film trick on it.

What is it?

1 ) Print a full color graphic on an ink jet transparency sheet, and trim off any excess transparency. Leave about 1/4 inch near the edges of the graphic.
2 ) Spray a coat of clear on a flat surface.
3 ) When the paint is nearly dry but still tacky, put the transparency ontop of the paint, ink side down, being careful not to introduce too many air bubbles. DONOT MOVE IT AROUND AFTER ITS ON! otherwise you'll cause the inkjet ink to smear.
4 ) prick the air bubbles with a pin to release any trapped air.
5 ) Add several coats of clear paint. (usually about 10 coats of clear on a guitar is good).
6 ) cut back with a wet 10,000 grit sand paper to smooth out the edges of the transparency. DONOT OVERSAND.
7 ) add 2-4 more coats of clear
8 ) buff-polish it up using ultra fine polishing liquid.

I have just buy a fumoffu box set 1 on ebay, the price when higher than I expect 76us for 7 figurines...

There are no longer out of stock, there are going to restock. It cost 45 us and it come with 10 random figurines. That kinda piss me off to see this now

Have anyone buy the ramdom box set? If yes, do you usualy get the collection with one box? Are there like magic the gathering card, some figurine are rare other common?

They're trading figures- it's highly unlikely you'll get the whole collection in one box.

So, you could buy 2 boxes, have 20 figures, most of them dupes, and no complete set.

I haven't bought any trading figure boxes- If I wanted a set, I'd wait for someone else to do that work, and buy theirs.

edit- just checked out that link- that set acutally has a total of 7 figures- the 'mystery' figure is Tessa in her Mithril uniform.

I have the figures of Sousuke, Kaname and Hayashimizu which I got for about GB£11 off ebay including postage from US to UK which was a really good bargain, but what I really want is the Sousuke in the Bonta Kun suit!

And I agree that there should be a Hot Springs Sousuke figure! That would be great! But can you imagine a horny teenage boy trying to get figures of naked Tessa and pouring all his money into the capsule machine and just getting an endless amount of naked Sousukes?!
