is there some thing wrong?

I for the past few weeks have been seeing some thing weird.
the Avatars some times don't show up or the posters stats are overlaid on the avatar. to date it has not caused any real trouble it's just a little annoying.

Did hitting 'Refresh' help?

I've seen this a couple of times only very recently, and it also happens on other phpBB forums.

Its happening to me only when someone's avatar that is hosted on another server failed to either load or load completely. Seems that the page continues to load, placing the location/ect info as if there was no avatar, but then the image eventually loads fully or partially under it.

It may have to do with a change in the way Safari loads images, since it's only begun for me with a recent update (3.8 I think, not Tiger).

It doesn't happen often for me, I'm not worried about it, and I'm pretty sure it's not something wrong with the forum since, as far as I've seen, it's always caused by something hosted somewhere else.

Actually I thought it might be an upgrade, since the forum dropped dead a little too sudden to be a faulty file...
but id figure id post this anyway just incase there really was a problem at the time..
