FMP! Overload! Manga
I'm new to the forum so I'm not sure if anyone has already posted on this topic. I checked around and didn't see anything posted... please forgive me if it's already been posted on.
I have only recently heard about a FMP! Overload! manga and that the initial manga has a June release date. But other than that I can't seem to find out anything else about it.
Can anybody shed some light?

From what I understand, the Overload manga is what ADV's calling FMP! Ikenari. It's a manga aimed more at younger readers and is high school hijinks. It's the source of some of the Fumoffu characters such as the class president. It's quite superdeformed in style, in my opinion. I believe the series is completed.
Jae's got some scans from it in the gallery.

Thank you for the infos ^.^ and I apologize for any incoviences moving this thread might have caused you Jae
Thanks for the scan pics link Samantha ^^
I very much appreciate the help ladies!
The cover does make the characters look deformed quite a bit. I guess that's because it is not Gatou/Tateo, but by Tomohiro Nagai.
It is indeed available in English as of this month and I have ordered it just to check out what it is about. I am quite curious as to the origins of FMPF's Hayashimizu.

On a good day, a Tomahawk can fly into the door of a two-car garage at the distance of several hundred miles. And that can ruin your whole day.

I've gotten a hold of a copy. Having a read, I don't know. I think I preferred the origonal series. Wasn't a great fumoffu fan. preferring the mecha action of the orig. But we'll see. I really should finish it before I judge it.

I'm really glad to hear that actually, I was worried about the illustrations on the outer cover - I didn't know what the quality would be like. I thought Fumoffu was a good offshoot of FMP as long as you know go in knowing it's not a true sequel. With you not having favored it as much and then saying that this manga wasn't so bad, says a lot to me.
Mine is still in the mail. I anticipate having the same problem as HELLFIRE once it gets here anyways.

Mind you I love reading manag anyway.
You are more than welcome to pick my brains about anything I have read.

WAAAY TOO FUNNY!! is about how you could describe Overload. And I have
to agree with Dark-oneechan's assessment it's reminicent of Fumoffu, both in
terms of char design and lighthearted stories...
The best story IMO? When Sousuke meets the girl moving away
There IS a human being under all the armor!!

Hehe, I finally got it and got to read it!
Totally agree, very much like Fumoffu and that story was cute HELLFIRE
but I hafta say I luff it when they are at the pool. Even though that scene has been used before.. I can't get over them showing Chidori's thoughts.. and Sousuke grabbin to read 'em. Very funny.
Some of the situations are repeat situations from the series, but left out of the original mangas, so you kind of know what is going to happen. But it does explain the origin of some pictures you see on the internet that don't have a basis from any of the animes/mangas out now.. so that is a plus.

...I'd almost swear an issue used to come out every month, but since the
titles explosion the last little while, it seems they're staggering release
dates by as much as two to three months IMO. Plus this is also dependent
on whether it's been released in Japan or not as well...
I await eagerly!
