I'm fine waiting for the subs to come out so I won't be able to make much of it anyway without them, but I'm really itching to hear the opening and closing themes.

That clip of Kaname crying is probably a picture of when she's just fallen down the fence, rather than later where she's much more messed up. It would be far more appropriate, considering that the point later on is what one would typically call the first climax of that arc, and it'd be kinda weird to have that in the intro, imo.

i too thought that the ending could have been better; i definately liked the opening (i didn't really watch i just skimmed considering i couldn't understand anything)

the action is just as good as the first season and i felt that the animation was on-par if not better than the original..

hmm, i only saw one scene with chidori in it... hope they give her enough screen-time!!

can't wait for the subbed version

The Kaname crying episode will probably be ep10 if this is a 13ep-series. Or ep18 if this is a 26ep-series. With the new characters to fill in, I don't expect this is cover more than ODBD.

well, let's all do some math ...there's 52 weeks a year...right now is week 28, where the first one was aired...52-27(there has been 27 weeks of no FMP this year)=25...

If this season was 24 episodes, then the very last episode would air just before christmas, unless they take a break for one week for some reason, in which case it would air just after.

Now, these things considered, if this is a 24 episode arc, I'm betting that they're also doing dancing happy merry christmas for the last 6 episodes...

Another thing - if it is a 24 episode season, it would surprise me greatly if they did not change the intro at some point along the way, as is custom. That would mean the scenes shown in the current intro are probably from the first 12-16 episodes, but certainly no later than that...I find this to support the idea that it is a 24 ep season including DHMC...

But those are just my thoughts

basically i love this anime so i thought i might as well join
watched the 1st ep...WOW that was freaking amazing, the fight and action scenes were perfect, i wish i saw more a chidori and souske but oh well, i wonder when the second one comes, CANT WAIT, i saw the RAW lol didnt understand a word, ya but anyways i loved the ep, it was the greatest, (been waiting for about a year now)

I don't remember GONZO changing the OP/ED in the first season, although now that Kyoto's doing it, who can say?

Yea, Gonzo changed the OP animation a bit. Can't remember the details anymore, little stuff like a hawk flying in Helimejistan (Afghanistan) instead of the seagull flying over the ocean. I can only think of 15 or so non-filler episodes they can pull out of ODBD. Create some fillers and new fights with the new enemy(not from novel) and they can milk 9 more episodes to stick inbetween for a 24ep season. The new twins seem to be major villans that won't be defeated until the end of this series and I can't imagine Sousuke-dachi to be fighting them on a cruise ship.

But we'll see, too much to speculate on when we don't even know how many episodes this season will have.

I guess this series isn't as easy to fansub as something like Naruto cuz of the technicbabble. Must be more patient...

I've seen the first few minutes of the raw (it was hard to tear myself away from it - but I decided I want to the whole ep in its entirety subbed). I enjoyed what I saw emensely.

(And Sousuke with the longer hair looks drool worthy just sitting in an AS. Sigh...)
