Good episode.

I've never been to keen on returning antagonists after they've been "killed for good", BUT, at least he wasn't 100% (or even 10% for that matter...)

I just hope THAT'S the last we see of him. I'll buy what they said about how he survived the end of the first series... but there's no way he can survive being shot multiple times and having a bomb blow up a foot or less below him.

Not even if his bed was black tech and had a lambda driver installed.

OMG I did not notice that. Most of the time I just skip the intro but even if I didn't, I would've have seen it. Nice observation.

I'm still waiting for the Tessa-in-bomber-jacket scene... one more ep to go. It's gonna be a crammed episode, I hope they include everything from the novel that's after the fighting is over.

I only watch the opening because I don't want to skip anything, and anyway the music and scenes are good. I noticed that, but I forgot that they should be including that scene with Tessa. I want to see the elimination squad use their blades big time in the next episode. Look at it, Yu Fan, Gates, and the whole elimination squad have these gigantic blades while the M9's and Arbalest have one monomolecular GRAW-2, and an anti-dagger knife, except for the Falke which has a Crimson Edge. ECS, [ecs]but most of us know that Sousuke and the Lambda Driver are more than a match.[/ecs]

No way, the anime is going to have to change that part. One reason is because there's Gates. They're not going to kill off a character like him so easily. I believe the elimination squad in the anime though will be annihilated quite fast because they haven't had shown any of their human personalities, and Gauron doesn't call their leader an "angry b*st*rd", or is the leader supposed to be Gates? Even though he has a bright red colored Venom and the rest have silver/grey Codarls.

Kananme would NEVER be able to compete with Tessa in that field. She can't even admit it to herself. Now if they were to compete in actually successfully receiving Sousuke's affections... well, it'd be a low scoring game, but Kaname would definitely win.

Kaname will win because Souske likes her and not Tessa. Also there has to be more than 13 episodes, I think it will hint or give the idea that things arent done yet.

Of course it doesn't. Assuming that there is going to be another series after this one, it's gonna be awhile before it gets here (i.e. one or two years). Ugh! I can't wait that long!!

Well, I don't know how they're going to pull off the last episode. Maybe make it an extended finale. I hope they don't cut scenes. They have to do three AS battles, one scene with Sousuke and Mithril and two with Sousuke and Kaname. I just don't see how they can fit that in 23 minutes.
