If I have to describe it, it's a mix between Charlies Angels and the Ninja Turtles ...

And I hear James Cameron is going to do Battle Angel Alita ....

Proof that every notable fighting franchise needs a horrible movie. First MK, then Street Fighter, then Tekken (even as anime it stunk) ... now DoA. King of Fighters will have it's day too, most likely...

And all of these girls are lacking a certain something the game characters had... but I can't quite put a finger on what it was

Anybody know about the Neon Genesis Evangelion live action movie? The same creators of Lord of the Rings are working on it.

Old news... the movie's in administrative limbo. Actually it's the vfx company
rather than the creators involved and their website had (still has?) some
concept art.

The EVA movie hasn't begun production yet, ADV's still collecting the funds for it.

Seems Weta Workshop is getting extremely popular, LOTR and King Kong because Peter Jackson was the director of both of them, Chronicles of Narnia: TLTWATW also uses Weta and also the program they created that brought the armies of Middle Earth to life, and I guess maybe Evangelion. This is all I know off the top of my head.
