I knew I was obsessed with FMP when I sat down to write a Gatekeepers fanfic, and one of the charecters, stepping into the Gate Robor, said, "Hatch Lock. Run Mode Four. Bilateral angle three-point-five degrees."

for me it was when i watched the preview disc of the first episode last year

i was hoooked, and have been ever since; i just find full metal panic to be very original and it seems to have a bit of everything

not to mention the characters just rule

To me its simple as seeing first episode. Since that i have bought every FMP! DVD that i can get my hands to becouse i just have to see entire series (and maybe TSR next). I mean, combination of the mecha action and high school humor is something that sets FMP! part from Gundam series.

By Moral laws (Embarassment),I can't say some of them.

However, There are some I can talk about.

1.I always keep my stash of FMP! and Fumoffu DVDs near my computer, Vol.2 of FMP with the Sousuke cover is always on top.

2. I have a WaterMelon Slice Squeeze pillow that I like to hug and pretend I'm hugging Sousuke.:sousuke:
Sousuke's #1 Fan!

Sousuke's military antics, of course. The basic premise of FMP! itself was enticing, not really original, but its execution went far and beyond expectations.

I first realised I was addicted to FMP when I downloaded a music video of the series before even knowing anything about it--then watched the video (of poor quality) over and over and over and--you get the picture.
And thus my quest to discover all I could about FMP began.
I guess the novels were really the first aspect of FMP I was actually introduced to, and they effectively hooked me.
FMP season one and TSR managed to keep the addiction going strong, but having to go cold turkey on new novel translations has been quite difficult--no doubt for everyone :wall:
It sure makes you appreciate any relesases, no matter how long they take, and all the hard work Boku-tachi does.
Kurama: "You've done well so far all by yourself."
Sousuke: "That's not true. You idiots have been lining up for me."

1st time I watced FMP was when I was grade 4. I was like WTH is this! :? Robots, hot girls and Military Veterans!!!!!!! PLAIN SWEET!!!!! I became addicted to FMP when I watched FMP 1st season for about 5 times. Then, I bought FMP Fumoffu! I watched for about 10 times already! Was funny because as people said, Love Hina style FMP.. Nice.. Then, when I was already grade 5 checked out the anime store.. Kapoof FMP TSR! Bought for about 5000 PhP or 100$us.. Cool deal.... watched for just 5 times plan to watch it, until, if they ever make another sequel... I wish though... that the sequel will focus on Sousuke and Chidori's relationship. (only my opinion) Dat's all.

Hi Guys,

For my first post, I will speak about my full obsession about FMP. Once upon a time, I was bored at work. I asked to some friends:
"I am looking for a funny and fight manga/anime
- Then Full Metal Panic is for you, he answered me.
- Full what? Sounds nice! Let's see what my favorite mule can give me."
I downloaded the first season, I could not stop watching it again and again. I also bought the first manga. I was trapped. Then I saw the Fumoffu existed, DL.
Finally, I saw that part of TSR was released. Every friday, I was looking at this site to get the summary of each new episode summary. Then my good friend the mule helped me to get the original version on saturday (and I don't speak japanese), on monday the subtitled version. Finally, I tracked all over internet new fora to find some spoilers about the novels.
I realized then that FMP was my new drug. Gosh it's gooooooood!

Remember kids, trying to start Armageddon is dangerous. Do not try it at home.

[14:57] Katyusha [Love Through Superior Firepower]: Nope, cant see a thing.
[14:57] Katyusha [Love Through Superior Firepower]: Not using MSN remember?
[14:57] Silver Lynxy: Oh right. You're one of those Trillian people, aren't you?
[14:58] Katyusha [Love Through Superior Firepower]: trillian people? =.= What are we, an ethnicity now?
[15:00] Silver Lynxy: Yes. An evil race.

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

I realized I was obsessed with FMP first when...

...I was using the word "Affirmativ" (affirmative) instead of correct...
...I showed some interest in camouflage clothing and stuff (I've never been into that military thing before)
... I started to see things: A few weeks before, I saw a guy (FAF) in the train, he quite looked like Kurtz...
... I like a guy (whos got a scar on his face) but NOT of his scar, ok?!?! XD

I guess FMP! changed me just a little XD
