Ok, so subject is this sequal to GunParade March, anime and manga produced by Sony.
In world of GP things didn't go as I they went in our world. In 1945 instead of nukes droping on japanese aliens known as Phantom Beasts attacked and war has lasted 50 years during GPM. Two years has passed from great battle and new charachters are stationed to arctic region when heroess of the story is stationed there from elite academy.
So has anyone else in here watched or readed this? What do you think about it?

I saw two eps, but story / animation wise it was subpar imho..
It did however had a little more humor..

Recycled GPM with even more despisable characters... 
Newly-minted CO gets about as ass-end as you can get assignment for
the biggest bunch of misfit HS students you can think of -- you know, the
kind that couldn't find their way out of a paper bag -- who's inbox did
she s*t in? To top it off, the main pilots -- two catty, 'look out for only me'
b*tches -- think nothing of her and work almost actively to undermind her
leadership and the chain of command.
About the only thing GPO has for it is the longer series run, but the totally
unlovable cast totally turns me off
