I just noted.

Rewatch the episode where SOusuke trains the football team.

All the insults that he hurls at them from Mao's Pocketbook come from R. Lee Emery's portrayal of the Marine Gunnery Sergeant drill instructor in Full Metal Jacket.

And then, don't forget, Mao was a Marine drill instructor herself.

Makes sense. I mean, the show's name is itself an homage to Full Metal Jacket. Clearly Gatou is a fan.

I only watched the german dub but imbd.com says this is the orginial line in english.

the german goes like this: "Nimm sofort deinen fetten Arsch von meinem Kletterturm!Ich hab gesagt runter von meinem Kletterturm!!"

don't remember the exact words but it was something like this
