Just for the record, the TDD-1 did have an Omnisphere, heres just a few pics about the Omnisphere and it's relation to the Arbalest/Lambda Driver, though these ARE from the Anime.

Just incase you noticed, theres a coma after the third picture, all she says after that is "it's connected to the submarine's control system."

Excellent - the evidence we've been waiting for. But does this mean that an Omnisphere is just a control system, separate from the Lambda Driver... and that, apparently, the Arbalest had one of its own?
Well, at least they won't be cannibalising the TDD-1 for it.
