Doing a little web search, the best I can find for TAROS is Transfer and Response Omni Sphere.. did they ever really talk about its meaning in the anime at all?

Hmmm... okay, so I guess Sousuke had a primitive Omnisphere?

I can't recall where I read it, but I think TAROS stood for Transfer And Response Operating System... well, where I found it.... *yawns*

Just for the record, the TDD-1 did have an Omnisphere, heres just a few pics about the Omnisphere and it's relation to the Arbalest/Lambda Driver, though these ARE from the Anime.

Excellent - the evidence we've been waiting for. But does this mean that an Omnisphere is just a control system, separate from the Lambda Driver... and that, apparently, the Arbalest had one of its own? :?

Well, at least they won't be cannibalising the TDD-1 for it. :lol:

Perhaps Leo's Belial just had a an improved TAROS on board? I forgot his lines from the novel regarding this, anyone bother quoting?

Wouldn't know, the translations give it as Omnisphere.
