With the issues NASA is having with the space shuttle, NASA is going to have a hard time with "safety" issues.

Nowadays its impossible to just strap on a rocket and fly to the moon like they did 40-50 years ago.

If NASA would have gotten the budget of the US national "defense" we would be sipping tea with the Klinglons by now.

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

Don't get me started on government..>>

I don't think I would want to live on the moon though, at least not at the beginning. Tis a bit to lonesome for me..

No we wouldn't. The Klingons don't drink with enemies. But it is a good point.

// waits for the Lunar Landing Hoaxers to start crawling out of the woodwork

Right after the story broke NASA lost the original footage of the lunar landing,
that's what some bright joe wrote to the local paper about... what kind of a
world do we live in?
