There is also a season 2 of the Anime.

The live action has really bad special effects. REALLY *REALLY* bad.

Just watched ep1 of the live action. Well, I wasn't expecting any better effects than Sailor Moon live, but the effort to copy the anime's cutscenes did amuse me. =)

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

Well, I've finished watching the first season and I've caught up with 2nd season (and the 2 episodes of live action) as well.

ECS'ed spoilers and thoughts:
[ecs]It got a lot better with the introduction of Hajime-chan and Tsugumi. It was still monster-of-the-week type but with Hajime trying to stop the revenges, it kept me interested in if he's gonna succeed that episode. I'm glad I saw those situations that I wished for in my earlier reply, in some form. Except for a non-revenge day story of Ai-dachi. The episode about the haunted doll was a nice twist.

I knew I was gonna find out about Ai's past. And I was expecting something worse to happen to Tsugumi. I thought the series was gonna set Tsugumi up to be the next Jigoku Shoujo and replace Ai. Like Hajime-chan was gonna die trying to stop Enma Ai. Tsugumi would be so full of hate that she'd put in a revenge request, on Enma Ai. And Tsugumi's vengence would be so cruel that she becomes the replacement. That would've been sad but great twist of melodramatic fate. :) Seeing how the producers want to milk this series as long as they can, I can't expect this to happen in the 2nd season. Enma Ai = Jigoku Shoujo
[/ecs]
Seeing how an episode about an uneventful day of no-revenge would be too boring, I can't hope for that anymore in the 2nd season. However, I do want to see episodes about the past of Ai's 3 servents; Wanyoudo, Hone Onna, and Ichimouku Ren.
