Nah, it doesn't have enough red for Gundam's "hero colours". You can definitely tell that it's got more than a few elements of the old Arbalest, although whether this was cannibalisation of parts or just a similar model base, I have no idea.

Blue Duel upgrade anyone? :-P

Still looking nifty, even though I don't care for the add on parts, that imply more performance degrading dead mass than anything.

Nice to know that Al can kick some ass on his own.. and that Sousuke initially doesn't reckognize him.

Whoa, this is Al on steroids! The sketches include the "ponytail" that was on the Codarl, but I don't see it in the colored drawing. I feel like there's too much going on in the design :-P

Found this on 4chan /m/. They didn't post the other page, so... =|

Also, regarding your comment, Hellfire... I think its less of the color scheme but more of the limbs seeming bulkier than most AS. But yeah, What I can notice aside from the knee Monomolecular Cutters and the grenades on one side of the hip are the knuckles. Looks like we'll be getting more punching?

The army knives are stored in the knees. It seems they got that idea from the Ex-S Gundam :?

My question is: What the heck is up with that right arm? :-o

Seems that AS would be walking with a permanent list to starboard.

Possibly, possibly not. It could be a mounting point for weapons, since the previous sketch had an awful lot of weaponry on the right side. From what I could see, there was a sort of cannon and a rifle-ish weapon. Or maybe Wraith was just drinking too much booze when she was putting this thing together. >_>;

Similar idea, maybe, but the execution is rather different. The Ex-S doesn't pull off the entire knee extension for its beam sabers.

:-o Whoa-a! This thing is sooo bulky! I guess you wouldn't be able to take it on stealth missions with the amount of clearance that thing requires. :-P All that aside, I love the "anti-tank dagger" 8)

Hmmmm.

I can't honestly remember where the M9 stored its anti-tank dagger, but I remember Arbalest had it mounted in front of the "mouth" :P

Left knee is apparently the storage holster for the GRAW-4 monomolecular cutter. Looks longer and bigger than the GRAW-2 on the M9 and ARX-7.

The ATDs look like the standard M9 ATDs.

This is sorta like an Astray Blue Frame upgrade. :P There's hugeass SEED vibes from this. :P And now there's red paint. -_- Oh well, I guess it needed the hero colors.

I definately want to know what the hell is going on with everything though. And I doubt Kaname gets rescued here. It'd be too easy.

It could be that the reson the GRAW-4 is stored in the left knee is to counterbalance the right side. <.< Which begs the question of wth is it so unbalanced. That projection mounted on the right bicep is probably an armor plate like on the M9's... but why have one only?

Anyways, this thing is further and further away from the M9 that was the chassis for the ARX-7. Hopefully it can handle Velial.

IIRC, the M9 stored it behind its waist (on its back).

The anti-tank daggers are stored in armpit racks, where you could store grenades instead. The extension on the right that you're talking about is that rack, which is also present on the M9 frame. The ATDs are also the exact same type as the one used by the M9, if you look at the ATD's model number. Also, there are actually 2 GRAW-4 monomolecular cutters, its just that they removed the left side to show how it looks like when its taken off. That's most likely the case, especially if you look at the previous sketch.

Aha..... I seem to recall something about armpit grenade racks on the Arbalest as well.

KiLlEr: The M9 and Arbalest carried their GRAW-2 monomolecular cutters on the back, not the ATDs. Can't recall where the ATDs went, I need to rewatch the series.

Lots of grenades here: waist grenade racks, and presumably armpit racks... this thing is loaded for bear.

It'll probabbly be compatible with the AS shotgun. ^_^ Sousuke ain't Sousuke without his shotgun.

LOL Indeed! I feel like that's the only weapon the ARX-7 uses sometimes. It's cool though. 8)
