I have no idea, I think what Gatoh is going to do through what he said in his "blog" that it looks like he might split the endings in shorter novels. Like take for instance the Inuyasha movies or something close like that.
I smell anime productions and then the final "movie" type episode.
it would be a good marketing idea, but we'll have to wait it out. >_<
Sousuke needs to hurry up, kick that ass and get his woman back...damnit lol

Yes, the titles have been spoilerish up until now.
This is probably the first anime show/novelisation that makes me care enough of the main characters to hate them ending up apart...

It's not the actual wording, per-se, but it has the general gist of the mood. Important thing to note is that Kaname says "daisuki" which *would* translate to "love" in English so... it's da truth! ^____^

Someone did a better translation of it on the animesuki forum, but here's a short summation: Kaname orders Sousuke (as the VP of student council. XD) to come find and rescue her no matter what the cost. He says he will, no matter what. She says she loves him, he says he loves her (aishiteu!!), and then she says "ureshii" or "I'm happy." That's when she tells him they definitely have to kiss next time they meet, to which he agrees. She then says she'll wait for him, even if it takes 100 years. He says "don't worry, it will happen/occur."

So there you go. ^____^ I can't wait to see that scene animated!!

Here is HuntreSeeker's great summarization of Chapter 11:

1. Chidori versus Kalinin. Of course Kalinin won't be scared at all if he got a man died in this way, and he stated that he WILL shoot Sousuke if he faced him. And other than Kalinin no one cared about what she'll do next (shoot that man), and continued their work. Just after Kalinin left her alone, she pointed the gun at the ceiling------The top of the helicopter. Everyone froze, but still Kalinin said it really doesn't matter she shot the appliances, since the copter will crash and everyone will die in the process (Count it: 300 feet from ground with 120 miles/hour). The she asked if she'll see Sousuke again, and you should know how will he answer. In despration, she pointed the gun at her head. Initially she really wanted to fire while something from inside called her not to, but then she realized: she HAS to make Kalinin believed her that she'll fire. In an instant he stopped her and said he'll try to do what she wanted to, though it's impossible to fly back since Leonard needs treatments. So instead she demanded a radio to say farewell.
2. Cleaning-up the fighting scene. Lemon and his gang are fine, while the Uruz team arrived. (Kurtz commented that "If he was at Melida Island......" But was stopped by Mao) Cluzort wanted to avoid every chance of getting others known about Laevatein and to guess its power by eyesight, and Sousuke agreed but than AL rejected because......It DOESN'T have ECS, ECCS, and even Laser/Infrared Jammers AND only have minimum range of Radar. The screen of the appliances even went into blank. Light Sensors are alike M9's but nothing else are advanced, so Sousuke commented it'll be better to scrap AL to mount ECS back. (Phew, so at least this thing isn't that SRWized......Internally) Suddenly he caught a radio signal at him, and he connected. A familiar girl's voice......
3. Conversation between Sousuke and Chidori (at last!). Sousuke insisted her to tell her position so that he can take her back, but she stopped him. She said if she resisted or try to escape she'll hurt more people, and she doesn't like that, so she tells him to forget about her. Of course, our main character is falling into desparation once she said that......Until suddenly she said "I don't like this", and her voice becoming more powerful than before, but crying. She used her position of former Vice President of Student Union (OTZ) to order him to use all his skills he had, and bash all enemies in the way, no matter how many people will die in the progress, and tell him to hug her tightly once he comes, and he said he CAN do that. Following up this, please refer to pages ago of that "troubled paragraph". (But Sousuke seems to feel shocked for saying "I love you" so causally......Ugh.) By this time the helicopter is leaving the range of detection to track her down......for now. Before she leaves she tells him to search the fridge in the mansion's kitchen since there's a Hard Disk there, and the line cuts.
Kalinin is kinda surprised by her actions before him. She admits that initially she really wanted to say farewell, but then she changes her decision. Kalinin then commented that Sousuke won't hesistate to shoot him since she gave him power, and he admitted defeat before her "deadly face" and let her to use the radio. However, when he asked her about the Hard Disk, she replied that only her and Tessa will undertsand what's inside.
4. Back to TDD. Kurtz obviously teasted Sousuke about his "confessions" (together with Mao on their way back) since they talked in Open Channel at that time. Lemon and his gang, including those officers who helped Sousuke also went there. Soon Tessa arrived from the bridge, but doesn't showed too mcuh emotion towards Sousuke, just like the way to greet a normal trooper who has come back. (Suppressed emotions, or just doing like that? Who knows.) Just as he tried to introduce her to his firends, those 2 old officials went crazy and run towards her (Reasons? Look back at the stories before) and luckily they're barely stopped by her bodyguards. (Note: She doesn't like them too much) Just as he tried to introduce Lemon to her, they found that he was stunned in the place like having a fever and staring at her. (Lemon:"What? really? This girl......Introduce her to me?"------Well, guess what's the hidden meaning behind.
Best conversations following-up:
Krutz: "Well, he falls to her at first sight."
Mao: "That's easy to look at."
Clozort: "Another member to the Fans Club anyone?")
4. Hunter wakes up in a hospital, with a gril who he called Miller (my translation) beside. (We may not know who was she at first, but when she said "That man......Mr. Sagara did saved my life. Without him, I should be living horribly in Siberia." Well, you get it) She said she only helped AL, who designed its body by himself, and Hunter commented that the evolution of AL is horribly fast since being mounted on ARX-6. ("Did Bunny realized something......?") Miller seems also realizes what's Bunny's objective when she helps building ARX-8. What's the mystery behind?

MMD ends. next novel as Final, can expect some rushes......Though I don't want to see that.

I wonder if this girl "Miller" is the same girl that Sousuke saved in ep. 1 of the original Full Metal Panic! series. That would be so cool! Then again, Chidori saw her hanging from a tree when she momentarily went crazy while talking to Kurtz in ep. 4 or 5 (?). I need more intel! Thanks to HunterSeeker once again.

I wonder what the Hard Disk contains.Could it be an upgrade for the TDD-1 (since only Tessa can understand it's contents, maybe its for her ship)? Plans for the M9's successor? A Lambda Driver that requires little mental concentration? Or a really nasty weapon?
