I've seen it spelled both "Sosuke" and "Sousuke." I think that's how they spell it for the English. However, I wonder if it's written that way on the English released dvds as well.

IMO yeah it's a typo

The ou makes the o "streched"
Else it would be Sosuke o sounding like boss.

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

...The fun about going between a language that is not so much based on
letters and the distinct sounds they make vs a language that is pictorially
based, which has little to do with how it sounds...

Always preferred "Sousuke"
Even with English dub, they never usually change the spelling of the Japanese characters names - righ? Just the pronounciation...

They spell is "Sosuke" in the ADV English manga, and "Sousuke" in all three US release anime seasons. I suppose it's a bit subjective. Depends on the translator, really. I like "Sousuke" better, personally, but I suppose if you want to get technical about it, it's spelled 宗介 :-P

I like "Sousuke" better too. It just looks better and more authentic as well. :sousuke:
