What manga are you ....

Ya, Kenshin manga is awesome. I bought the 10 or so final volumes of Jinchu Arc.

Trying to read Full Moon o Sagashite manga too since my friend told me the manga's different and I've seen the anime. But keep getting distracted by other entertainments.

I don't really read manga that much, especially if there's an anime for it. But I do follow the manga of series that its anime series already ended. Like Inuyasha and Berserk. Those 2 are the only ones that I'm faithfully following.

Woah, I'm reading and buying a lot of mangas (but yeah, Polish manga market is quite good, too - average price of 1 translated volume is 3-4 euros or 5-6 dollars), but the ones I WOULD recommend in 100%...

Some of the classic:
- Gunsmith Cats - you just can flip the page when the cars and guns are drawn so realistically - yes, Keniichi Sonoda is a gun & mobile freak, so basically every car and riffle drawn look completely the same in real life ^^
- Battle Angel Alita (or Gunm) - hell of a good, o'le cyber-punk. Very dynamic, great plot. A MUST READ

And some other, which weren't mentioned:
- Karin - YES! I'm totally in love with the series - light plot, lots of humor and great characters (Karin's family is simply INSANE!)
- Sword of Immortal - it doesn't look like typical manga - the drawings are more realistic. Interesting plot (maybe not in the beginning, but it gets better with every volume), very dynamic fighting sequences... And it's a nice "relax" from all those big-eyed and wide-faced characters (not that I mind those

)
- Saiyuki - dynamic, lots of fighting, humour... But there are also many "taboo topics" which appear in manga (I don't know about anime - haven't watched)

Uuugh... Can't think of any more atm, but I promise to edit as soon as I remember

I already read some vol. as scanlation (I know, I know) but it was so cool that I want to have it geniue. I normaly don't read manga. mostly when I want to know what happens after the animes finishes

Just finished Old boy (8 volumes)

I have to say I really enjoyed Old boy and thats very easy being a fan of the hardboiled / noir genre.

Now I started reading Eden

In the panic surrounding a worldwide pandemic which kills 15 percent of the population and cripples many more, a secret organization, the Propater, topples the UN and seizes control of much of the world. A boy and a girl, raised in an abandoned virology research center, immune to the virus, use a powerful combat robot to wipe out the Propater forces who come to retake the island, led by the boy's father. 20 years later the boy is the most powerful drug lord in south america. He aids his son from behind the scenes as he evades and eventually with the help of mercenaries from Nomad (some of them former Propater operatives) fights the Propater. Based strongly on Gnostic mythology, all major characters are named after gnostic deities, and have analogous roles.

Considered Battle Angel Alita ... but the store didn't have vol1 in stock

but I tend to find that nothing interesting happens in inuyasha or bleach and as for naruto... well it wasn't interesting to begin with
