Caught up to ep 3... D*N!! that was a priceless final scene at Comifest...
and one of my personal favorite scenes in the manga. I still can't tell if
Saki was pissed that Kousaka went to the darkside and did cross-play...
or that he ended up looking more feminine than her

Yea, I'm up to ep3 also. Easy to see Saki as the "chairman" of the group =). Happy to hear Satsuki YUKINO's voice on the air again too.

#4 Oono and Tanak get close(r)... though her final comment to him at
the end makes me wonder about her commitment to 'not soil the integrity
of the character'

...kinda sucks they've given most of Sasahara's sister's scenes to Kuchi,
seriously I know a couple ppl like his type IRL that just don't know when to
bugger off and/or quit while they're ahead.

#9's best line was hands-down Saki's "We're going to f*k like bunnies till
then!" line... Hope his batteries last till then

Anyone want to take his
place if they don't?

the first series was so damn funny. the only thing I missed was we learned nothing about their studies... one thing I really want to know. maybe we get a glimpse in this second season?

AFAIK, the manga [ecs]makes no mention of their majors in school. It's speculated the former prez before Madarame was a Sociology major, but that's never elaborated on[/ecs]

...really though, it's about otaku, do you need to know more than that?

overall, I prefer the first season. when [ecs]madarame and the others graduate[/ecs] the series loses something of its fun. additionally we don't get so see much about saki and kousaka...

but ep #5 was the best 20min of anime in a long time. ultimatly hilarious

Just watched the last ep, ep12. Yea, I like the first season more. Madarame was hilarious there and the first season was really more about Saki than any of the other characters. She's just more interesting than the others.

Season2 is still good and has nice character development.

Genshiken 2 #12 coincided with me FINALLY getting the last volume of the manga...
I shall for ever enjoy the scene right before Saki graduates... "I'll get you

i was jus bored and decided to watch this to pass time but i ended up liking it a lot...now jus need to wait for season 3 to drop to finish off the major plotline with Sasahara and Ogiue

I heard a rumour its coming in 2009? anyone else heard about this?
