The 2008 Anime preview list..

Lots of new series that sparked my interest and also a lot of that I will stay the hell away from.

One that I will watch is RD Sennou Chousashitsu / Real Drive.
Production I.G. And Shirow is usually a win win situation.

All I have to say about 2008 is that there is still hope ....

Amatsuki: interesting (only skimmed)
BLASSREITER: already dropped
Code Geass R2: keeper only because of Kallen Stadtfeld
Druaga no To the Aegis of Uruk: funny show that doesn't take itself seriously, keeper
kure-nai: interesting start, probably a keeper
Macross Frontier: great start, keeper
S.A. Special A: 3 episode probation
TO Love-Ru: generic romance, 1 episode probation/probably drop
Vampire Knight: so-so/not that great, 3 episode probation

Kamen no Maid Guy ---> It rocked, especialy the part with his so called X-ray vision. Lots of mindless violence, jokes and general stupidity, what's not to like

Sadly you pointed out that I had to watch Kamen no Maid Guy and I did.
You will be punished.

Blassreiter = Saugreiter, Still I need something to complain about and with 00 gone this will be it.

Soul Eater, I like the feel of the show... and that kitty is cute

Macross Frontier, Where is teh CAEK... a must see.

Allison to Lillia, Hooked from the first episode ..

Druaga no Tou ~the Aegis of URUK~, Amusing .. it's on the list.

Crystal Blaze -- to watch sometime
DC II -- obligatory keep
Kanokon -- female fox demons + Ayako Kawasumi = what's not to like?
Macross F -- to watch sometime
Monochrome Factor -- to preview sometime
Daughter of Twenty Faces -- thought it was Lupin with a (pre)teenager type, looks like I was wrong...
RD Sennou -- to preview sometime

Currently watching:
Itazura no Kiss - It may be a typical romance anime to some, but I find it cute and intriguing all the same.

Vampire Knight - Finding the manga more exciting, but it's good. I like the characters, though Yuuki being overly concerned with Zero (I HATE his name!) about 90% of the time gets annoying after a while.

Kamen no Maid Guy - What's not to love?! Ku! Ku! Ku! I love it when she fights the bear in the special kendo training in the mountains ep.

Just finished:
Kurenai - Great characters, story, animation, everything. I loved this! Though Shinkuro's little "enhancement" may have gone a little too far

Sheesh, Kurenai just ended after 12 eps and now Vampire Knight after 13 (though I know it's 2nd season starts in Oct.)? Doesn't anyone put out full 24 ep. seasons anymore?

DCII Second Season - The problem / plot context becomes a lot more like the First DC. More deep, a little more moving, and sadly, more depressing

While I still think Yoshiyuki should have got together with Otome, or save her for me..

It was fairly ok. If you end the anime at episode 12, it's really powerful me thinks, continue on to 13, and it becomes a slight let down
