Is it Uruz or Urzu?

Hey all,

Sorry if this is an already-answered question. I tried searching for 'uruz' and 'urzu', but the site came up with no search returns. Respectfully, I can't imagine that no one has entered it in a message before, so I think the search feature might be broken.

Anyway - I'm trying to write an FMP fic, and hitting a wee hurdle in deciding what to use for our SRT heroes' callsigns. I've read the Wikipedia article stating that it's essentially interchangeable between Uruz and Urzu due to the peculiarities of the Japanese language, but is either form in favor moreso than the other with fans?

While I'm on the topic of callsigns, is "Pass" correct for Kalinin or is that yet another mistranslation?

It's uruz. The callsigns of the SRT are named after runic symbols. The callsign of sousuke and pals is uruz, which is the symbol for strength.

Here in Italy is also URUZ...

The call sign for Kalinin is another runic symbol: Perth.
Other call signs used are: Gebo, Tewaz and Ansuz if I'm not mistaking ^^

1. I broke the search but will fix it. oooh I will so fix it ...
2. I think for a story you should stick to elder Futhark for runic.
3. Murasaki Saru welcome .. your drawings are very nice .. show them off in the fan forum.
