Finally got a chance to finish it!
I noticed a couple of things that were missing from the anime and manga. There were hints of the Amalgam mole in Mithril, and a little different story as to how Gauron got his hands on the "Toy Box" software.
(While I have enjoyed these TokyoPop translations, I think I preferred Brandi's writing style back in the bygone days of Boku-Tachi fan translations. Oh well...)
All in all, worth the price and the time. Especially since we don't seem to be getting any new animated FMP in the near future.
I wonder which novel TokyoPop will release next?

I may be going out on a limb here as I'm unskilled at such guess work and would rather leave this to people more educated and have experience in the publishing industry, as well as insiders of Tokyo Pop. but being as it is, I venture that the next FMP novel released will be Volume 4. Of course I can be wrong as this is only a guess.cullenk wrote:I wonder which novel TokyoPop will release next?

There should be a TP release list afaik they are planning to release all of the "serious story arc" novels.

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

No doubt it will be Volume 4. The question is which title they are designating as Volume 4?
So far, they seem to be concentrating on the "serious" stories, but whether they continue to do that only TokyoPop knows. Their Web site only releases the information about a month before the release date. The site lists volume 1-18 as being on their agenda.
