Would have added a few flakes or cracks in the globe.

Is the Asifadream one a mashup?

Oh, how I would have loved to do that Taurec!!! I so fail in finding a tutorial for Ulead PhotoImpact on making it look natural (I have a couple of rough draft versions with Ulead's particle effect snow that doesn't look like snow[here] and [here] to try to give a feel of snow breaking free from the snowglobe but without the proper cracks or shape they look mediocre - the ones I tried to put in manually were of epic fail). If you would like to play with the image I would be very appreciative of your perfecting it like whoa! =]

"As if a dream" is really just a humble layering affect with some pretty simple brushes, a try at something a little new and less OCD =]

I'm not so sure I could oblige on that one, Taurec

I promise I will keep it in mind. The Testarossa family has not been on my good side for a while....... (I hope we can still be friends >.>)

well this is one way to make it a little flakey

miz~chidori wall

for the snow flakes I used 13pixel brush with shape dynamics enabled and scattering in photoshop.

shape dynamics randomizes the flake size so you dont have to.
and scattering is as it says, scatters the brush out around the area of your mouse....
a simple click and a quick move of the mouse will add a few white dots...

for the white place I brightened it upp alittle and added a lens flair
filter -> Render -> Lens flair... though I always try to blend it in with the layer options (dropdown box)

0.0 That's amazing ZyreX! Purple is my favorite color too, so double bonus points (the first bonus points were for the creative use of flakey =])! I certainly will try it out on the very cookie cutter particle affects Ulead threw in and see if I can get that technique you described down ~=]

if you ever have any questions about how to improve something before the
final release write a thread in the Taskforce section...
as thats what that group was made for!

we had quite a team back in the days!
would be great if the group got some attention again!

I still have the old site design with the old list of members but thats pretty much it..
since the host at the time gott hacked and his hdd went corrupt..
so all the other sections are a no go...

so the main section is taken from my current site... just to fill in the blank.
