I was watching the last episode of TSR just now and caught a glimpse of something on the following brief shot just after the final battle:
The thing that first caught my eye was the latitude and longitude displayed in the upper right. I made some educated guesses and came up with N022°18'35" E114°15'20". (Edit: The last digits in each line are not a 0 and a 6 as I first thought, but an N and an E, for north and east, obviously.) Then I fired up Google Earth. Guess what - that location is an actual street intersection in mainland Hong Kong.
Second - the comms channels listed in the lower left.. note channel 2A's alias text. "Perth 1" - I presume this is Kalinin. I always saw his callsign translated to "Pass 1". Anyone got any opinions/other proof on this? I figured his callsign would follow the others and be runic in nature, but I'm not sure that either Pass or Perth is part of that alphabet..
