Translator Amy Forsyth Passes

Post by cullenk »

While this may be old news to some, I just read on Anime News Network the Amy Forsyth passed away last April. According to the article:
She translated many anime titles for ADV Films such as Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid, Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu, Le Chevalier D'Eon, Gatchaman, Pumpkin Scissors, Venus Versus Virus, Comic Party: Revolution, and 009-1.
Didn't know much about her, but enjoyed her work. Too bad...

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

Lived a rich life, if you go by the bio there... indeed, 33 is too young.

Wait, how long before I hit that age?

Man, 33 is way far in my rearview mirror.!
One thing about it, with the body of work she leaves behind she won't be forgotten by those of us who read the credits.
