...Just finished WCS:Darkest Dawn. I almost shed a tear on the last mission... I REALLY think they hit the high notes
with the lines of it, and overall. It drove me crazy long enough, and it was SUCH a blast to the past... shouts out to the
ppl who spent 10years of their life putting it together!

...Now what to play next...

Also somewhat peeved with ISP #2. I decided to spring for a 2nd line, partially to learn dual WAN configs in Cisco-land,
partially because I could. A guy CLAIMING to be from the ISP says "yeah, you're hooked up, good to go." Pick up the
equipment and a) modem doesn't sync, and b) I find out my home phone is dead. So the next day's getting the phone line
back working, they SAID they came out ON A SUNDAY to do some work (bulls**t!), and I had a few days off for them to
come out, but because they don't work a weekend (see previous gripe) they won't be out till monday next week.

\\insert long string of 4letter explitives here.

I'm SERIOUSLY considering calling ISP #2 and saying, you know that payment for the service? Well 1/2 the money's
not showing up due this fuster cluck of an install.

Tall and Cold, February's ended and March is starting....

For me it's a nice dive into Hyper-V 3 and Windows 2012 ..
Trying to play with replication without AD :)

So how strong is your IPv6 Fu ?

Joe, just keep updating your website too .. I hate anything containing socialmedia and the mention of cloud <g>

IPv6... errr.... uhhhh... depends what you're asking Tau.

Taking a few days off work till Mar 23rd, and going with a friend to England. I'll post assuming I can get
internet over there. Just don't ask what my bill's ringing up to with this vacation. *sighs*

IPv6 ...... the beta for IPv7

:P

I've got the new Tomb Raider for the PS3 as a B-Day present. So far, it looks nice, but not overly impressed. So far its been a Physics sim, hit-the-button-when-I-say-so rhythm game, deer hunter and after an hour of play, only one easy-peasy puzzle.

Not overly impressed.

@Killer
So long as Lara Croft is as *bleep*able as she ever was, does it really matter? What I heard was
it was supposed to take place during her pre-tomb raiding days...

@CPOK
That's on the todo list sometime. Will let you know if I'm headed that way or not.

Last minute crunch time, including setting up that 2nd ISP. This is the 4TH time they've tried this --
1st they fscked the phone line, the 2nd they plain out lied they came out, the 3rd they blew the whole
day (so I sat around twiddling my thumbs waiting for them) -- I've got a long string of 4letter explitives
I want to say right about now.

*Whacks Joe repeatedly with a spoon*

Back from the trip... I swear I got more security flak COMING HOME than going there, let me count the ways :

- tripped the xray scanner @ london
- got a fullon patdown because of it, INCLUDING the privates...
- 2 "random" bag checks afterwards
- didn't buy anything and so declared, so got shoved aside at Canadian customs for ANOTHER bag check
- ran thru bag security AGAIN to make the 1st connecting flight in Canada

...and it took almost 20+ hours of traveling to get back. Note to self, do direct flight to and back... well
I'm going to get some sleep and get my body clock back on normal. Got pics of around London, Greenwich
and the prime meridian, Edinburgh, Paris, London Film Museum... lemme know which ones I should share.

@Taurec
How many server pools do you have, and how many servers in each pool? The way I was taught was to
have the 1st pool covering the largest number of hosts, then the 2nd pool the next largest number of
endhosts, etc.

....Australia's on the "to try out before I die" list, so no worries CPOK.

When're you coming up north of the equator?

Tall and Cold, gave up on getting a 2nd WAN connection cuz apparently NO ONE is responsible
for the right phone wiring between the demarc downstairs and my unit up here. FML.

Well, have to write off THAT on this year's taxes.

I bet you smiled ... they don't like that in the UK :)

/ Its for a small hosting farm ~ 20 VM's but it's more the concept of ipv6
I need to secure the hosts behind a firewall so I have my vm's running in a dmz. .... lets switch to im before going into details...
